Egg duck breeding is an important agricultural industry in China. China is the largest country in egg duck breed, breeding, consumption and trade in the world. The breeding techniques of laying ducks are becoming more and more perfect. Now we will introduce the techniques of raising laying ducks covered with plastic film in greenhouse.

1. Building a duck house: the farm should be built in a place where the terrain is high and dry, the wind is facing the sun, the north faces the south, there is no tall sunshade around, and it is close to the water source. One side of the warm house is a single arch, the roof is covered with tiles and a movable skylight, sawdust is added in the middle, and the bottom of the shed is covered with plastic film. The other side is a steel arch, which is covered with two pieces of plastic film and fixed with nylon rope. The front and rear walls are made of brick and glossy cement to facilitate disinfection. The house is longitudinally separated by walls and is divided into a perched egg-laying ground and a feeding ground. Set up an adjustable activity fence horizontally, and adjust the density at any time according to the number of ducks. The roosting egg farm is on the concrete floor with observation windows on both sides. The ground of the feeding ground should have a certain slope to facilitate washing. Feeding doors are opened on both sides, drainage holes are left at the bottom of the front wall, ventilation windows and entry doors are arranged on the back wall, and sinks and food troughs are set up in the field.

2. Adjust the temperature: the temperature has a great influence on the laying rate of poultry, and the temperature in the plastic greenhouse can be adjusted manually. The way to do this is to open the ventilation window on a hot day and open the junction and bottom of the two plastic films at the same time, so as to promote air circulation, make the air fresh and cool in the habitat laying ground, and facilitate egg laying. In cold weather, except for skylights, all openings should be sealed with plastic film to keep warm and promote egg laying.

3. Control humidity: ducks like dry habitats. In autumn and winter, the relative humidity in the house is relatively high, so in addition to requiring the habitat to change the bedding frequently, the skylight and plastic film should be opened to remove moisture when the sun is sufficient, and the ducks should be released for activities outside the house at the same time.

4. Supplementary light: the suitable light time for laying duck eggs is 14-16 hours. when the sun light time and light intensity can not meet the requirements of laying duck eggs, artificial light should be carried out. The method is: take sunrise and sunset as the standard, calculate the amount of light according to the area of the perched egg-laying ground, and use two rows of 25-watt incandescent lamps to make up the light. It should be noted that egg ducks are easy to stir up when they encounter bad stimulation in the dark, so constant lights should be set up in the feeding yard, and emergency measures should be taken for power outages.

5. Rainproof and anti-pollution: practice has proved that egg ducks will drop eggs if they are in a dirty and humid environment for 1-2 days. No matter how long it takes, it may cause a large area of egg production to decline or even stop production. Raising egg ducks in a plastic greenhouse can generally avoid this phenomenon. However, in the rainy season, if the duck house leaks and the ground is dirty, the production of egg ducks will also be reduced. Therefore, when ventilating and ventilating in continuous rainy days, the plastic film covered at the top of the warm house should be retained, and the plastic film at the bottom should be lifted, which can not only prevent rain, but also avoid excessive pollution of the warm house floor, so as to ensure the normal laying of laying ducks.

6. Ventilation: the plastic film warm house is generally strictly closed, especially the egg duck stays in the house for a long time in cold days, resulting in an increase in pollutant discharge, resulting in an increase in harmful gas content. The main measures taken are as follows: first, the feeding density should be adjusted, the intensive feeding method should be adopted in the plastic warm house, and the duck flock density should be adjusted properly when the smell of ammonia in the house is heavy. The second is moderate ventilation, which can roll up or open the doors and windows of the film covered on the warm house at about 2 o'clock in the afternoon to remove harmful gases, dust and microorganisms, but it is necessary to prevent cold air from blowing directly to the egg duck; the third is to purify the environment of the warm house, the duck house should be cleaned frequently, remove the accumulated dung, and keep clean. In addition, sunny weather should allow ducks to give up more activities and get some fresh air.

7. Disease prevention and treatment: a disinfection pool should be set up at the entrance of the warm house, the site, house and utensils should be disinfected and sterilized regularly, and vaccination should be done according to the procedure to strictly prevent the occurrence of infectious diseases. Usually to strengthen observation, once found that sick ducks, should be timely isolation treatment.
