With its inherent advantages of high efficiency and low cost, broiler breeding has become the industry with the highest degree of industrialization in the field of animal husbandry in China. The total output of chicken in China has increased from 1.358 million tons in 1984 to 11.44 million tons in 2009, and continues to grow at a rate of 5% per cent per year. Due to the widely recognized quality, domestic chicken is not only exported to Japan, South Korea and other countries, but also domestic chicken is purchased by multinational catering brands such as KFC, which have always had high requirements for food safety. Precisely because the market demand for broilers is large, and the requirements for the quality of broilers are also high, then to raise high-quality broilers, weight gain and fat reduction are very important, so let's introduce these two links.

Fat-lowering method for broilers:

The cholesterol content of poultry products is generally high, which can easily lead to excessive cholesterol intake of eaters and affect human plasma cholesterol concentration, which is not conducive to the control of patients with hyperlipidemia, hypercholesterolemia and cardiovascular disease. Fat-lowering additives can be used to reduce the content of cholesterol in chicken products.

Through the experiment, when 0.03%, 0.06% and 0.1% fat-lowering additives were added to the diet of 4-week-old commercial Avian broilers, the plasma total cholesterol levels of broilers decreased significantly after three weeks. The contents of total cholesterol and total triglyceride in chicken meat decreased by 38% and 48%, but the growth rate of chickens was not affected, and the feed utilization rate was increased by 5%. Protein utilization rate can also be increased.

The fat-lowering additive is powder, and half of it is used for broilers in the middle and later growth stages (after 3 weeks of age). It can be directly mixed with vitamins and additives into the feed and fed directly with powder or pellet feed. The recommended amount of additive in broiler feed is 0.05%.

The lipid-lowering principle of lipid-lowering additives is to inhibit the synthesis of plasma lipoprotein in the liver, enhance the metabolism of lipoprotein in the liver, and reduce the content of total cholesterol and triglyceride in the blood, so as to reduce the deposition of cholesterol in the muscle of broilers.

Weight gain method for broilers:

Add soybean oil: 7 days before the sale of broilers, add a little raw soybean oil to the chicken feed to make the broilers fat and tender.

The method of adding fat chicken powder: the fat chicken powder was prepared according to the dosage of 20% dried ginger powder, 9% licorice powder, 7% fennel powder, 50% cinnamon, 6% cooked soybean powder and 8% ferric sulfate. Each chicken was 0.5 kilogram at a time, mixed with water and fed once every 2 days.

Methionine addition method: 4 grams of methionine and a small amount of microbiotics were added to every 5 kg chicken feed to gain weight faster.

Feed cooked corn meal method: a chicken is fed with 200 grams of cooked corn meal every day, which is artificially fed three times in the morning, noon and afternoon, and the effect is better by adding some green vegetable leaves appropriately.

Feeding aseptic fly maggot: using distiller's grains as raw material, 500 grams of fresh fly maggots were produced and fed to broilers, which could gain 0.9 kilograms.

Feeding multi-enzyme tablets: three days after feeding, 0.04% polyacid tablets were added to the solar eclipse and fed for two weeks.

Feeding moxa powder: adding 2% moxa powder to the diet of broilers can increase daily gain by 10% to 20%.

The method of feeding earthworms: the dry matter of earthworms contains up to 70% protein, and the amount of earthworms fed with diets. 5%, the earthworms can be processed into powder, and the earthworm powder can be mixed with the feed when feeding.
