L species of bait

Monopterus Albus is a carnivorous fish, the main bait are earthworms, tadpoles, maggots, small fish and shrimp, silkworm pupa, snail, mussel meat and so on. Under artificial feeding conditions, in the case of insufficient animal bait, you can also throw some plant bait, such as wheat bran, rice, bean cake, melon peel and so on. Monopterus Albus does not eat rotten food.

2 baiting method

Monopterus Albus bait should adhere to the "four fixed". First, fixed quality, do not feed rotten food, require fresh bait; second, quantitative, daily feed should be adjusted according to the amount of food eaten the day before, with a little surplus, generally according to 5% of the total amount of ricefield eel in the pond, can basically meet the needs. Bait must not be more and more, sometimes less, sometimes stop. If there is too much bait, the rice field eel will eat too much, and it is easy to suffer from swelling disease; too little will make the rice field eel grow slowly, and even cause the big eel to eat the small one. Third, timing, according to the living habits of Monopterus Albus, bait is usually carried out in the evening. The fourth is positioning, in order to make Monopterus Albus develop the habit of eating at a fixed point, and to facilitate observation of eating and cleaning of residual bait, food grounds should be set up and fed in a fixed place, and the eating table can be made of wooden frame and vinyl mesh cloth. In order to avoid the eel coming out of the hole group to compete for food, the eating table should be properly dispersed and set up a few more.

3 points for attention

At present, the seedlings of cultivated ricefield eel are mainly collected in the wild, and they do not adapt to the environment at the beginning of stocking, and the general snacks are artificially fed, so they need to be domesticated, otherwise it is easy to lead to loss of appetite and culture failure. The specific methods of domestication and feeding are as follows: the eel species are not fed within 3 to 4 days after stocking. The food in the stomach is digested and turned into an empty stomach; then the pool water is drained, new water is added, and domestication is carried out at night. When domesticating, cut up the earthworms and mussel meat that Monopterus Albus most like to eat, divide them into several small piles and put them on the side of the water intake, and enter the water properly to cause micro-flow. The first feeding amount can be 1% 2% of the weight of ricefield eel, and if it is eaten all in the morning on the first day, the feeding amount will increase to 2% to 3%. If the bait cannot be eaten that day, the residual bait should be fished out, and the second day will still be fed according to the previous day's feeding amount. After eating normally, wheat bran, melon peel and bean cake with sufficient sources can be added to the bait for the first time, and at the same time, the intake bait of 1pm 5 can be reduced; if you eat normally, the common bait of 1pm 5 will be added every day, and the bait can be used normally after 5 days.
