Last Updated: 2024/11/06, This is a very famous flower, which can grow not only in the soil, but also in the water. Generally speaking, we keep it in water when we buy it home, so what measures should we take to make it grow better?

1. Pruning

Keeping it in water is the simplest and easiest way to succeed. It takes advantage of the flower's ability to regenerate, cut a small spot of the stem and branch into the water, and put it in the right area to let it take root into a new flower. The branches should be cut 35 mm below the node, and the cut should be flat and free of cracks. Remove the leaves under the mouth of the bottle, and there should be a certain interval between each flower to ensure smooth ventilation. Its growth time is from December to February of the following year, and it only takes about 30 days to take root.

Second, watering

Wipe it clean before putting it into the bottle. The water should be less than half of the root, and part of the root should be exposed outside the water. If it is a new flower, the root wound is more, it is easy to rot, so often change the water, at the same time to wash the bottle and flower root. If it is hot and hot, the amount of oxygen in the water will be reduced, its breathing will be faster, the oxygen will be used up quickly, and the water should be changed more frequently, preferably every day, until the white roots grow in the water can slowly reduce the number of times to add water. If the water in the bottle volatilizes from 20% to 30, you can add water. Don't add too much water. You still have to expose part of the root to the surface. If it is the spring and autumn season about half a month to renew the water, if it is winter, about 20 days to update once.

III. Fattening

Because it is hydroponic, the added fertilizer will melt in the water, and once its proportion exceeds the need for flowers, it will have an adverse effect. It is best to buy a special nutrient solution, which is based on the proportion of flowers, which is very scientific.

Fourth, lighting

It likes the sun better, if it is the period when the seedlings are just growing or the flowers are in full bloom, don't put them under the bright light. At other times, you don't have to worry that the strong light will hurt it.

5. Temperature

It likes cool temperatures. In winter, if the temperature is lower than nine ℃, growth will stop. In summer, if the temperature is higher than 35 ℃, it will be injured. So it should be cooled down in summer and wrapped in plastic film in winter.
