The bee is a kind of lovely little insect. It shuttles through the flowers all day to collect nectar. It is an industrious little bee. With the popularity of the aquaculture industry, there are more and more beekeepers, so how to raise bees? are there any points for attention?

How to prevent ants in beekeeping?

1. If ants among the bees are found to enter, bee farmers should first look for ant nests near their hives and destroy their nests after finding them. We can use wooden stakes to drill several deep holes with a depth of about 60 centimeters in the ant nest, then pour kerosene into it, and finally fill the hole with soil, so as to completely eliminate the ants.

2. After finding the ant nest, you can also dig it up with iron, then sprinkle some quicklime on it, and then spray some diluted solution of sodium sulfite, which can also play a role in killing ants.

3. While wiping out ant hives, bee farmers should also deal with their own beehives. You can raise all four corners of the hive with wood blocks, and then apply some tung oil or asphalt on the heightened wood blocks, so that when ants smell the smell, they will not enter the hive again.

4. The use of the drug mirex is also an important way to help honey control ants. This drug is not harmful to bees, but it can kill ants quickly. People can dilute the drug and spray it on the route of the ants and their bodies. Can play the role of rapid destruction of ants.

How to raise bees artificially

A special technique for artificial breeding of improved breeds of king honeybees. The aim is to cultivate a certain number of queen bees in a planned way every year for organizing new colonies or replacing aging, injured and crippled queen bees. First of all, bees should be selected from the disease-free strong colony to organize the feeding colony, or the king colony (responsible for feeding the queen bee larvae and capping the queen bee colony). At the same time, the larvae with 1-day instar were selected and transplanted into Wangtai base (transplanter). The feeding bees are then instinctively fed with royal jelly as queen bees. Feeding groups can be divided into two groups: Queen Bee feeding Group and non-Queen Bee feeding Group. When cultivating a large number of queen bees, the king frame of the moved worm (the nest frame for cultivating the queen bee) can be added to the non-queen bee feeding group, and after 1 ~ 2 days, it can be transferred to the queen bee feeding group to continue feeding; for a small number of queen bees, the queen bee feeding group can be used to add the moved king frame between the pupa spleen and honey spleen in the relay box until the queen is Eclosion and selected to replace the old queen bee.

A method of artificially dividing bees to increase the number of bees in order to expand reproduction. It is better to divide the bee colony to more than 10 frame bees, about one month before the start of the main nectar period. The method is to take several frames of pupa spleen with bees and 1 frame of honey powder spleen from a strong colony, put them into a new hive, then put a new queen or mature queen who has laid eggs, then move away from the original site, and close it for 2-3 days in a dark and cool room to prevent bees from flying back to their original hives.

The production of royal jelly uses the principle of artificial breeding to induce bees to secrete royal jelly to feed the queen bee larvae and harvest it at the right time. Usually in late spring and early summer, when the average temperature is more than 20 ℃ and there is a certain source of honey powder in the outside world, it is carried out in a strong group (7-9 frame wasps). First, the beehive is divided into the spawning area and the serous area with the royal board. If the queen bee is confined to the spawning area, worker bees can enter the spawning area. Then put the pulp production frame (the nest frame for the production of royal jelly) into the pulp production area. Each frame has 3 to 5 king platform boards (lath with queen bee nest foundation), each king platform board has 20,30 king platform plates (queen bee's nest foundation), and each king platform foundation is moved into a 1-day-old larva. Worker bees instinctively secrete royal jelly to feed the larvae. Royal jelly was harvested once after 60 ~ 72 hours. Fresh royal jelly should be preserved at-18: 4 ℃.

With the continuous improvement of people's living standards, human beings pay more and more attention to the health care function of natural food. Bee products such as propolis, royal jelly, bee pollen, honey and bee pupae come directly from nature and are real natural health foods. the functions of bee products such as antibacterial, cell regeneration, enhancing immunity, regulating nerves, eliminating fatigue, improving blood circulation and respiratory function have been gradually recognized by people. And these bee products that people can see and touch are only a few percent of the benefits that honeybee pollination brings to nature.

Taboos in beekeeping

Avoid two kings in the same group, in the actual beekeeping operation, in addition to a very small number of beekeeping players like to engage in "double kings in the same group", those who really take beekeeping as their industry never engage in this pointless game. The two kings in the same group do not reproduce rapidly and maintain large groups as some people do leisurely, on the contrary, it does more harm than good:

1. It is difficult for different queen bee to be compatible (even the sister king), which leads to the restlessness of worker bees in the group (unable to find the north) and negative feeding and collection.

2. After a period of steady time (about two weeks), the worker bee gradually became cold and the weak king let it slowly decline and die.

3. Chinese bees have the characteristics of good division of bees (usually on the basis of a few spleen). A good queen bee has enough ability to maintain the fecundity of more than 10 spleen, and it doesn't make much sense for the two kings to be in the same group.

What are the benefits of beekeeping?

Honeybee is one of the insect groups that are beneficial to human beings, which generally refers to the species used for production: Western honeybee and Chinese honeybee. It pollinates crops, fruit trees, vegetables, forage grasses, Camellia oleifera crops and traditional Chinese medicine plants, and the yield can be increased several times to 20 times. Honey is a commonly used tonic, with the laudatory name of "milk for the elderly"; bee pollen is known as "micro nutrition bank", and royal jelly is an advanced nutrition, which can not only strengthen the physique and prolong life, but also treat chronic diseases such as neurasthenia, anemia and gastric ulcer; bee venom has curative effect on rheumatism and neuritis; beeswax and propolis are the raw materials of light industry.

It is not necessary to say that we all know that bees can produce a lot of honey, and honey is a good product for our beauty and health care, and now most families must have a bottle! It is true that the nutritional value of honey food is particularly high, but also makes the honeybee industry more and more popular.
