Rabbit is a very common animal in daily life. At present, it can be seen in many places in our country. The appearance of the rabbit is very lovely, so many people like it, so some people will keep it at home as a pet. However, when breeding, many people have different opinions on the question of whether they can feed water.

Do you need water to raise rabbits?

Raising rabbits needs proper water, but there are a few things to pay attention to:

1. Rabbits, like most pets, need fresh and clean water. If you don't drink water, you may even die.

2. Prepare fresh and clean drinking water for rabbits.

As for how much water should be prepared, it depends on the food each rabbit eats. When you eat dry feed, you need more water, and you don't need to give too much water if you eat vegetables and other hydrated foods.

4. If the rabbit at home can defecate, it means that there is too much water; if the rabbit can drink urine, it means that there is too little water.

5. Just remember the right amount. Raised rabbits, it is likely to accidentally drink dirty water, or eat rotten vegetable leaves, will cause acute enteritis and death of diarrhea.

What do you feed a rabbit at home?

1. 1-6 months: appropriate amount of alfalfa hay, unlimited amount of Timothy hay, baby rabbit food and plain boiled water.

More than 6 months: unlimited Timothy hay plus rabbit food plus plain boiled water and a small amount of fruits and vegetables (vegetables must be free of water). Just give it a handful of rabbit food. If there is no grass at home, you can buy sugar-free oats for the time being, which are eaten by people and can be sold in the super room.

Matters needing attention in rabbit breeding and feeding

1. Feed according to the size of the rabbit. Generally speaking, large adult rabbits should be fed more, young rabbits and young rabbits should be properly less, and green roughage should be fed according to the season.

2. Feed according to the fat and thin degree of the rabbit. The fatter rabbits should appropriately reduce the concentrate and increase the green roughage. Thin rabbits should be fed more concentrate, properly fed with soaked, cooked soybeans or mashed bean dregs.

3. Feed according to the dry humidity of feces. If the feces dry knot, it is necessary to increase the amount of green feed, mixing with a higher humidity is appropriate. If the feces are too soft, it is necessary to reduce the amount of green feed, and it is better to mix the material more dry.

4. Feed according to hunger and satiety. Generally speaking, rabbits are fed to 80% full, and overfeeding can easily cause indigestion, enteritis, diarrhea and so on. Insufficient feeding will affect the normal performance of growth and production performance.

5. feed according to the hot and cold weather. When the temperature is more than 30 ℃, the effect of feeding is better in the morning and night, and it is better to feed cold, cool or green feed at the same time, and hot water and pinch feeding is better for cold concentrate in winter. The feeding of rabbits should be determined by reality, not all of them should be treated the same, so that the economic benefits of rabbit breeding can be maximized.

What can rabbits eat?

1. Boiled and fried: rabbits eat raw food, while deep frying is even more unsuitable.

2. Frozen food: frozen food will make the rabbit's intestines and stomach very uncomfortable and cause diarrhea. Fruits and vegetables have just been taken out of the refrigerator and must be kept the same as room temperature before they can be eaten by rabbits.

3. Rotten food: don't think that animals are not as expensive as human beings, and it doesn't matter to eat spoiled food that people can't eat. Rabbits are especially vulnerable, never.

4. Candy and sweets: sweets and sweets are high-calorie, high-sugar foods that are really not good for rabbits, except to make them obese and cause digestive tract diseases (sugar can cause abnormal fermentation of chyme in the intestine). It can also cause tooth decay in rabbits.

Rabbits can actually drink a moderate amount of water when they are fed, but if there is moisture in the vegetables, they don't have to be fed. Rabbit food is also fastidious, generally with carrots, vegetables as long as the food, remember that vegetables should be fresh, so as not to eat rabbit discomfort.
