Can Douyu be raised in a group?

The feeding method of Douyu

1. Water temperature

Douyu's requirement for water temperature is not very high, and the problem is not great as long as the temperature is controlled at about 20-30 ℃. The best water temperature is 24-27 ℃, the best water is neutral water, and the pH value is 6.5-7.2.

2. Fish tank layout

In the bottom of the fish tank can be covered with a thin layer of bottom sand, the purpose of putting the bottom sand is to stabilize the roots of aquatic plants, but also to better attach microorganisms, the best ratio of water to bottom sand is 5:1. If you can properly add goldfish algae, black algae, etc., can provide sufficient oxygen for the tank, but also let the fish have a place to hide.

3. Lighting

Douyu needs enough light, so it is good for aquatic plants to coordinate photosynthesis, and we can put a small lamp with soft light in the fish tank.

4. Feed

The necessary bait for most people to feed Douyu is to choose artificially dried bait, if the floating feed is the best. Usually, you can throw some fresh live bait at intervals, such as silk earthworms, harvest worms, water fleas and so on. Eating these will make Douyu look more colorful.

How does Douyu divide male and female?

1. The dorsal fin, anal fin and caudal fin of male Douyu are longer and larger than those of female fish, the body color of male fish is brighter than that of female fish, and the individual is larger than female fish.

2. The female Douyu has a round "belly button" at the front of the fish's belly, which looks like an egg, while the male Douyu does not.
