Many people would be scared after hearing about snakes, but many people liked to raise them. Snake breeding is a popular entrepreneurial model in recent years. As long as the snake breeding is good, the prospect is still very good. Generally, indoor farming is the most common. Before farming, building a factory is a critical step.

Technique of Artificial Snake Breeding in Indoor

1) Choose a good snake. The breeding snake is to select healthy and fat female snakes as breeding snakes in spring every year. No matter poisonous snakes or non-poisonous snakes, they generally lay eggs from late June to July. The female snakes should feed more nutritious and calcium-rich food before and after laying eggs, so as to make them eat and drink as much as possible. Whether the females mate or not is not a concern, as females can lay fertilized eggs for up to five years at a time.

2. Incubation. The snake eggs produced should be put into the incubation tank for artificial incubation in time, and the temperature must be maintained, and regular inspection and turning should be carried out. This is to prevent the snake eggs from drying and sinking. Dead eggs should be taken out in time, and mice should be prevented from eating snake eggs. Snake eggs generally hatch after 40 to 60 days.

3) Feeding. Small snakes out of the shell about 10 days to start eating, must be based on the snake feeding habits, can let its free feeding or feeding. This stage must be fed well, as far as possible to make it grow strong, otherwise it is difficult to winter, but also should pay attention to site hygiene, regular disinfection.

4. Hibernation. No hibernation period is mainly to control the temperature and humidity, as long as the snake box temperature, humidity is the snake can adapt to the temperature. Use light bulbs or firewood to heat up to 15~18 degrees Celsius. Keep humidity 60%~80%, feed according to routine, especially pay attention to not let the temperature drop below 10 degrees during this period.

Construction scheme of snake breeding workshop

1. The site for raising snakes should be chosen at a sunny place far away from human and livestock villages with a certain slope. Outdoor breeding, to build an open-air snake farm, the area can be determined according to the breeding scale, generally 100 square meters is appropriate. The snake farm is surrounded by walls, and the height of the walls cannot be lower than 2.5 meters. The structure should be solid and the surface should be smooth with white ash. The base of the wall should be about 1 meter to prevent snakes from crawling out.

2. The wall is equipped with hanging ladders, 0.6-0.7 meters from the ground. Steps can be built outside the wall to facilitate observation of snake activities in the garden. The park should be equipped with snake nests and snake caves, grass, trees, stones, etc., for snakes to play rest, digestion, peeling, sports and winter. There shall be little ditches in the garden running clean water for the serpent. Both ends of the ditch were securely closed with barbed wire.

3, the roof should be ventilated on all sides, and there is a barbed wire cover roof escape. The wall height shall not be lower than 2.5 meters, the wall and ground shall be coated with white ash and cement, and smooth and seamless, and no windows shall be opened on the wall.

4. There should also be snake nests in the room, as well as water supply facilities such as pools, ditches and basins. Both ends of the ditches should be sealed with barbed wire. The snake room should be equipped with two cross doors to protect the safety of staff when entering the house and prevent snakes from escaping.

Temperature Control of Indoor Snake Breeding

Snakes 'favorite temperature is 28-30 degrees Celsius. In our snake farm, we need to control the temperature at 20 - 30 degrees Celsius, which is most suitable for the growth and reproduction of snakes. If it is lower than 10~13℃, the snake will curl up and do not like to move; if it is above 40℃ or below 0℃, the weak and thin snake will die in large numbers. Therefore, in the process of artificial breeding snakes, special attention should be paid to the changes in external temperature, and efforts should be made to minimize losses.

The most common diseases and prevention of snake breeding

1. Mildew spot disease. In the rainy season, due to low terrain or poor drainage, resulting in ponding or long-term anti-tide snake nest. Sick snakes often have black spots on their abdominal scales. If they are not treated in time, local ulceration will occur and they will die. Treatment is: with 2% iodine tincture in the mildew spot part of the rub, rub twice a day, a week can be cured.

2. Stomatitis. After the snake first wakes up from its sting, due to its thin body, some harmful bacteria invade the snake's neck, causing swollen stomatitis. The sick snake could not close its mouth, could not swallow food, and finally starved to death because it did not eat or drink. The treatment method is: wash the sick snake mouth with normal saline, then rub two jaws with gentian violet solution, wash and rub once a day until inflammation and swelling stop.

Indoor breeding plant must be planned when the area, ventilation is also very important. When breeding, we must choose good snake seedlings, and then feed and manage them reasonably. In winter, it is necessary to strengthen the temperature control. Too low temperature is not conducive to its growth.
