Containers: use containers with a larger area of contact with air, because red worms will float to the surface to have a similar breathing action. Density: the density of red insects should not be too high, otherwise it is easy to cause the death of red insects. Change water: change once a day, and you need to put the red worm in a cool place. The red bug likes to live in fat water with slow flow. Light source: the light source can not be turned off at night. If there is no light source, the red worm will die easily the next day. Feed: fermented rice bran, incense scorch skin, bagasse and so on.

The red bug must be no stranger to many people. It is a kind of bait that many fishermen like now. The red worm is soft, slender and bright red in color, so it has the origin of the name. The market price of the red worm is very high now, so there are many people who want to raise it. However, before breeding, more people must be more concerned about its breeding technology!

How to raise red worms in fishing

1. Density. The density of raising insects should not be too high. If the density of insects is high, it is easy to die. I usually raise one to two stainless steel pots of 30 centimeters. The density is just right, and the water is basically full.

2. Change water. The water should be changed once a day, and put it in a cool place, such as the uncool place on the shady windowsill near the window, so that it can be cooler, generally there will be a heater under the windowsill, there is a temperature below, and the bottom of the basin is lined with a foam board, so it can be insulated. The water for raising red worms had better be put for a day so that the water temperature is close to the water temperature in the basin, and the worms are easier to live.

3. The light source is necessary for raising red insects. The light source can not be turned off at night, but can be illuminated by a small light source (such as a 5w night light, etc.) at night. Because the red worm is too lazy to breathe, if there is no light source, it is easy to die the next day.

Culture techniques of red insects

1. Red insects like to live in fat water with slow currents. Late spring and early autumn every year is the season for red insects to multiply in large numbers. They float on the surface of the water and often make the water brown and red. This is an excellent opportunity for us to collect red insects.

2. When raising a small number of red worms in the family, the river pond sludge can be taken back together with the red insects and placed in pots or glassware, preferably soaked in river water. if you breed with tap water, you should bask in the tap water for 2 to 3 days in advance and go out to bleach and other substances. Change the water every other day. To prevent frost in winter, put wet red cloth strips on utensils to moisturize.

3. It is most suitable to use a container with a large area of contact with the air, because the red worms will float to the surface to have similar breathing movements, so if there are a large number of them, they are afraid that they will not be able to compete for a place and die.

4. There are specially operated farms, most of which are made into breeding feed after fermentation with rice bran, saw, incense coke, bagasse, silt, pigeon dung and so on. When raising red worms at home, you can use yeast powder to soak in water to feed, but the dosage must be controlled.

How to feed red worms

Feeding is a more important link in the breeding link, a small number of times help to achieve high yield, in the peak production period, about 3 days feeding, each time 50-100 kg of manure per mu, sprinkle the water into a paste throughout the pond. The water should be stopped before feeding to half an hour after feeding to avoid the loss of manure. Feeding should follow the principle of high temperature and low temperature, and the amount of feeding should be adjusted according to the expected yield. Daily management should pay close attention to the amount of remaining bait in the field, and must not invest more blindly in order to obtain high yield, for too much organic matter in the field will produce a large number of harmful substances due to fermentation, inhibit the growth and reproduction of water maggots, and seriously affect the yield.

The harvest of red insects overwintering

When the number of red insects increases, it should be harvested and dried in time. In late autumn and winter, the fecundity of red worms is greatly weakened. when red worms are not visible in the tank, do not pour out the water in the tank, because they are lurking in green algae and can be placed near the sunny room or radiator. In the spring, when the indoor temperature rises, the red worm comes out again. When the room temperature rose to more than 28 ℃, the red worm began to multiply in large numbers.

When breeding red insects, we must pay attention to the factors such as density, water temperature, light and so on. Red insects like light, so no matter during the day or at night, we need to have light. Red insects in feeding, must also do a good proportion of the work, the only way to ensure the healthy growth of red insects.
