The pig farm wastewater is usually treated by precipitation, so the pig farm needs to be equipped with a sedimentation tank, and when the wastewater is discharged into the sedimentation tank, it is oxidized and decomposed through a series of procedures. The sewage can also be treated by self-purification, which can remove nitrogen and phosphorus from the water to a certain extent.

The wastewater from pig farms is usually treated by precipitation. There are two or three sedimentation tanks in larger pig farms. When the wastewater is discharged into the sedimentation tank, it will be precipitated, filtered, and finally oxidized and decomposed. This method is usually widely used, and the effect is also very good.

Pretreatment method of Pig Farm Wastewater

1. No matter what method is used to treat the wastewater in any pig farm, there will be a set of pretreatment methods, which can usually reduce the load of wastewater pollutants after treatment. it can also prevent the entry of larger solids and sundries and reduce the damage and blockage of sewage equipment.

2. If it is pollutant sewage with relatively large particles, the pig farm can use the method of precipitation, through the early precipitation, and then be filtered, so that it is easy to discharge, and precipitation is usually the most widely used method of sewage discharge.

3. Usually in relatively large-scale pig farms, two or three sedimentation tanks are set up, in which the waste water is filtered, precipitated, oxidized and decomposed, and then treated, and some mechanical filtration equipment is prepared. but the cost is often higher.

4. Some will also use natural methods to self-purify the sewage, such as preparing oxidation ponds, the principle of which is to use the organisms in the pond to purify the sewage, when the sewage stays in the pond for a long time, the microorganisms inside will degrade some pollutants, which can remove nitrogen and phosphorus from the water to a certain extent.
