Some will also use natural methods to self-purify the sewage, such as preparing oxidation ponds, the principle of which is to use the organisms in the pond to purify the sewage, when the sewage stays in the pond for a long time, the microorganisms inside will degrade some pollutants, which can remove nitrogen and phosphorus from the water to a certain extent.
