Grass carp cultured with budding broad bean can promote digestion, accelerate the growth rate of grass carp, and make their meat more delicious and crisp. Disinfect the fish ponds before breeding, pay attention to reasonable feeding in the breeding process, broad beans need to be soaked, the buds need to be soaked, the buds will be washed and then fed, water quality should be changed regularly to control water quality, and do a good job in disease prevention and anti-escape and anti-theft supervision.

Grass carp cultivated with broad beans are crisp and tender and are loved by the public. generally, the size of grass carp fry can reach about half a jin after a year, and then the weight can reach about 5-7 jin for another year. In the third year, when the culture temperature is above 25 ℃, grass carp are fed with broad beans for 120 days, and they become crispy meat, in order to shorten the culture time. Now many farmers directly buy mackerel that have been farmed for 2 years and come back to breed them with broad beans to make them crispy.

Techniques of cultivating grass carp with broad bean

I. preparation work before releasing fish fry

1. Build a rest fish house and a feed warehouse around the pond, and reinforce and waterproof the warehouse to prevent the feed from being damaged.

2. Build the feed table for feeding in the future, and make sunscreen and rain protection facilities above.

3. Planting some elephant grass around the pond stem for grass carp to eat can also reduce the use of drugs and improve the quality of grass carp.

4. Drain the water in the fish pond, inject the water into 50cm after exposure for one month, and sprinkle quicklime to disinfect the pond according to the proportion of 150kg/ mu.

5. The water quality in the pond requires no pollution and odor, it is best to choose reservoir water or landscape water, the oxygen content in the water should be controlled above 4 mg / L, and the pH value should be controlled between 7 and 7.5.

2. Release of fish species

Select non-injured, agile and strong high-quality seedlings with specifications around 2.8kg-3kg, and the general release density can be controlled at about 2000 / mu.

Matters needing attention in aquaculture

1. Feed feeding: adhere to the four principles, feeding once every morning and evening, and the daily feeding quantity is about 2-3% of the total weight of the fish, specifically adjusted according to the remaining bait on the table one hour after feeding, to ensure that the fish can eat fully without wasting feed.

2. Water quality control: regularly change the water in the pond. When the weather is hot, change the water body according to the color of the pool water to ensure that the water quality is clear and pollution-free, and provide a good living environment for grass carp.

3. Broad bean feeding: broad beans fed to grass carp must first soak and sprout, and the small buds of broad beans must be washed out underwater so that there is no bad smell, and then fed, to ensure that the time of budding and feeding time can be linked up, so as not to cause grass carp to starve. Grass carp like to eat broad beans after sprouting, and it is easy to digest and absorb, which promotes the growth of grass carp and makes its meat delicious and crisp.

IV. Prevention and treatment of fish diseases

In the process of breeding, the water quality should be regulated regularly, and 0.8 mg / L of copper sulfate and ferrous sulfate mixture, 0.4 mg / L trichloroisocyanuric acid or 0.2 mg / L chlorine dioxide can be sprinkled into the pond every month, and the three can be used alternately, so that the environmental factors in the pond can maintain ecological balance and provide grass carp with a living environment that is not easy to get sick and suitable for growth.

V. Daily management

Keep inspecting the pond every day to see if there are holes in the inlet and outlet of the pond to prevent the fish from escaping; observe the eating and activity of the fish, monitor the water quality regularly to prevent theft; and conduct random checks on the weight of the fish in the pond from time to time, in order to estimate the total weight and bait feeding quantity of the fish.
