Culture skills of grass carp

The survival rate of high-quality two-year-old grass carp inoculated with vaccine is higher; in order to better save the breeding cost, grass feed such as ryegrass and Sudan grass for grass carp can be planted on the hillside; in the process of culture, new water should be injected into the net pond regularly to ensure good water quality, properly turn on the aerator to increase oxygen to the pool water, and do a good job of disease prevention and disinfection.

1. Select high quality seedlings

When introducing fish fry, it is best to select two-year-old grass carp seedlings inoculated with immune injection. the two-year-old grass carp seedlings have better physique, consistent specifications, strong resistance and not easy to get sick, it is easier to breed, the survival rate can reach more than 90%, and the output is guaranteed to some extent.

2. Take advantage of the site to plant green fodder by yourself.

In addition to concentrate feed, farmed grass carp need to be fed with a certain amount of green feed to meet the nutrients needed for the growth of grass carp. Grass feed can enlarge the skeleton of grass carp, so it is convenient to fatten them in the future. in order to reduce the breeding cost to a greater extent, we can plant some ryegrass and Sudan grass that can be eaten by grass carp on the hillside, and the yield per mu can reach tens of thousands of kilograms. can effectively reduce the amount of pellet feed in the process of breeding.

3. Regulate and control water quality

The quality of water directly affects the growth and development of grass carp. In the process of culture, new water should be added to the pond regularly, preferably three times a month, about 20-750px each time.

Use the aerator to improve the oxygen content in the water at the right time. The aerator is usually turned on from 12 noon to 14:00 in sunny days and for 2 hours in the morning on cloudy days. On rainy days, the aerator needs to be on all day.

Sprinkle some water quality improvers in the net pond every half a month or so to improve the water quality and ensure the good growth environment of grass carp. From July to October, we should pay attention to the environment of the pond water to meet all the needs of grass carp growth.

4. Disease prevention

In the process of breeding, grass carp are easy to get parasitic fish diseases such as anchor head flea and Chinese flea. Generally, trichlorfon with a concentration of 0.35ppm is used to kill the pond from late March, and the mixture of copper sulfate and ferrous sulfate of 0.7ppm is used every 20 days or so. Alternating use of the two can better kill the parasites in the pond so that they can not infect the fish.

When the temperature is high, it is not 15 days to sprinkle quicklime water into the pond according to the proportion of 10kg/ mu to adjust the acidity and alkalinity of the water, so as to keep the PH value of the pond water in weak alkalinity to prevent fish disease.

Sanhuang powder or florfenicol powder can be added to the concentrate feed regularly and then fed, which is conducive to the growth of fish and prevent diseases.
