Crucian carp culture density

In general, crucian carp can be reared in a pond with a body of about 6cm in a single culture pond, and if mixed with other fish, the number is about 1500 fish per mu. At present, the main breeders are allogenic silver crucian carp, Pengze crucian carp and Xiangyun crucian carp, of which Pengze crucian carp is the most exported.

Crucian carp according to the culture method, pond environment is different, and the density of stocking will be different.

I. monoculture model

1. The pond has the conditions: if only crucian carp are raised in the pond, the area is generally required to be at least 3 seedlings, at most 10 mu, the water depth is maintained at about 3 meters, and the bottom of the pond is guaranteed to silt about 15 cm.

2. Stocking of fish species: before releasing fish species, first disinfect the pond with lime, and start injecting water into the pond in about 3 days. When injecting water, you should use a grid to filter at the inlet to prevent miscellaneous fish from entering the pond. 1500 crucian carp with a body of about 6 cm per mu can spend the winter, and can be matched with about 40% grass, silver carp and bighead carp for the winter.

Second, mixed culture model

Crucian carp culture area of about 3-10 mu, water depth of 3 meters, the bottom of the pond with silt 15cm, which is the best culture conditions. Crucian carp ponds can be mixed culture of green, grass, silver carp, bighead carp and other species of fish, crucian carp should be released large size, the number of about 600 per mu, the size and quantity of other fish according to the needs of culture.

Variety selection

The main types of crucian carp cultured by farmers are allogenic silver crucian carp, Pengze crucian carp and Xiangyun crucian carp, of which Xiangyun crucian carp has the fastest growth speed, because the appearance of Pengze crucian carp is better than other crucian carp, so Pengze crucian carp is mainly exported.
