The high culture methods of mandarin fish are main culture, interception culture, cage culture and cage culture respectively. We often use special ponds to cultivate mandarin fish, and the survival rate of general culture is as high as 90%, but if the stocking density is too high, the growth rate of mandarin fish will be slower, and the survival rate of mandarin fish cultured in captivity is relatively low, about 40%.

1. Special pool cultivation

Fish pond conditions and stocking area are not suitable for too large, generally about 0.2ha, water depth more than 1.5m, drainage and irrigation conditions are good, it is best to keep running water, stocking density is about 4500 per 1000 square meters, we must thoroughly clear the pond before stocking, the use of lime water for disinfection is conducive to improving the survival rate. Generally, the method of artificial feeding is used to raise mandarin fish, and mandarin fish are required to produce more food, such as living, no hard spines, palatability and timely supply.

2. Interculture and cultivation

Interculture includes adult fish ponds and parent fish ponds, which are generally released from June to July every year, with about 5000-7000 mandarin fish per hectare of 3.5cm. Mandarin fish are generally eaten as miscellaneous fish in fish ponds and parent fish ponds, without special bait, but can be controlled according to the number of miscellaneous fish in fish ponds.

When capturing, we need to pay attention to: first, only one species of mandarin fish can be raised in the fish pond to prevent small varieties from being swallowed. Second, mandarin fish is very sensitive to drugs, we should be careful to avoid unnecessary losses, such as the need to use drugs must be accurate and good use, summer high temperatures need to pay more attention, generally do not use drugs or use low-dose drugs. Third, the demand for dissolved oxygen is very high, the water quality should not be too fertilizer, we need to regularly inject new water to improve the water quality of the pool.

3. Fence breeding

Fence culture mainly makes use of the characteristics of more wild miscellaneous fish in the river ditch, good dissolved oxygen conditions, good water quality and so on. Generally, a section of water surface is intercepted in a suitable area of the small river ditch, and a small amount of mandarin fish is released, generally about 5000 per hectare. The use of wild miscellaneous fish in the river ditch not only reduces the culture cost, but also improves the economic value of mandarin fish.

4. Net cage

The cage is generally about 40 per square meter, and the size of the cage is about 100 square meters. the cage area is generally in the sunny, wide water surface, shelter and water with a certain micro-loss, and the bottom of the cage is at least 0.5m away from the bottom. Mesh specifications are determined according to the size of mandarin fish and bait fish.
