Chick feeding: temperature regulation according to the age of chicks

Selection and construction of houses: generally, native chickens are mainly farmed, and henhouses can be built in places with leeward, sufficient light, convenient transportation, convenient drainage and irrigation, and food troughs, sinks, temperature control facilities and so on. Raising chicks: the temperature should be adjusted according to the age of the chicks. Raising young chickens: male and female should be raised separately, and the daily feeding amount should be controlled according to the age. Prevention and treatment of diseases: timely cleaning of chicken house feces, and do a good job of trichomoniasis, colibacillosis and other prevention and control work.

I. selection of species and construction of houses

The main results are as follows: 1. Native chickens are usually selected as the main breeds, because they have large market demand, strong growth ability and high disease resistance. Chicken sheds can be built in places with convenient transportation, leeward, sufficient light and convenient drainage and irrigation.

2. The place with good conditions is not only conducive to the growth of chickens, but also convenient for later feeding and management. The henhouse should build a rest room and prepare food trough, sink and temperature control facilities to promote the robust growth of chickens.

2. Raising chicks

The main results are as follows: 1. The chicken period is within 60 days after coming out of the shell, the physique of the chicken in this period is relatively weak, and the survival rate in the first 10 days is also low, and the temperature requirement of the chick is relatively high, so it is necessary to regulate the temperature first. The temperature demand of general chicks will change with the increase of age.

2. In the first 3 days, the temperature should be controlled at about 35 ℃, then decreased by about 1 ℃ every 3 days, until about 30 days, the temperature should be controlled at about 25 ℃, and then the management of the chicks should be strengthened. The breeding density should be planned according to the age, and the day and night light should be maintained for 30 days, and the daily light time can be reduced appropriately after 30 days.

III. Raising young chickens

The main results are as follows: 1. Youth belongs to the stage of chicken growth. During this period, within 90 days after the chick rearing period, usually 120 days later, its body shape can gradually approach the adult chicken, and the young chicken needs to be fed in the henhouse. At this time, the chicken house should prepare a water trough, and then make a sloping roof at the top of the house to avoid rain and leakage.

2. When feeding young chickens, the male and female should be raised separately to avoid the law of the jungle, and the daily feeding amount should be mastered according to the age. Usually, the chickens for 60-90 days need to be fed about 3 times a day, and then the feeding amount can be reduced once after 90 days. If it is a breeder, then each feeding amount should not be too much, so as not to eat too much, so that the laying period is delayed and the laying rate is affected.

IV. Prevention and treatment of diseases

1. The common diseases of native chickens are trichomoniasis, colibacillosis and so on. These diseases do great harm to the growth of chickens, which will reduce the survival rate of chickens and affect the profits of breeding, so it is necessary to do a good job in the hygiene of chicken sheds when raising chickens. Clean up chicken droppings in time every day.

2. Strengthen the feeding management, disinfect the chicken house regularly, and do a good job of ventilation. In the process of feeding, we should pay attention to not feeding deteriorated feed and drinking water, plan the breeding density during breeding, and often observe the growth of chickens. When abnormal conditions are found, isolation should be carried out in time, and then check the specific conditions, and then treat the disease.
