Pond selection: the bottom of the pond should be flat, fresh water quality, convenient drainage and irrigation, good water retention and so on. Clear the pond: drain the pond water 20-30 days before stocking and clean up the excess mud in time and disinfect it with quicklime or bleach. Aquatic plants: plant water peanuts, bitter grass and other plants on the slope around the pond. Release seedlings: put in shrimp seedlings when the water temperature is more than 20 ℃. Bait: artificial feed with small miscellaneous fish and other fresh bait. Water quality: ensure sufficient dissolved oxygen. Management: patrol the pond in the morning and evening and actively prevent and cure diseases.

First, choose the pond

The suitable pond area for freshwater shrimp culture is 1000-5000 square meters, and the suitable depth is 1.5-2.0m. The bottom of the pond should be flat, the water quality should be fresh, the drainage and irrigation should be convenient, the water retention should be good, and the surrounding slope is large, and anti-escape facilities need to be built at the same time.

Second, clear the pond and disinfect

The freshwater shrimp fry should drain the pond water 20-30 days before stocking, and clean up the excess silt in time. After renovating the pond ridge, each mu can be disinfected with quicklime 75kg, bleach powder, bleach essence and other drugs.

Third, cultivate aquatic plants

After disinfection of the pond, plants such as water peanut, hollow cabbage and bitter grass can be planted on the 70cm water level of the pond slope around the pond to form a grass belt, with a grass bandwidth of about 1 meter and a plant spacing of 0.2m, accounting for about 15-20% of the total area of the pond.

IV. Stocking seedlings

When the water temperature in the pond is more than 20 ℃, freshwater shrimp seedlings can be put in. After cultivation in greenhouse or greenhouse, young freshwater shrimp with specifications above 1.5cm and survival rate above 75% can be selected for stocking, with a stocking quantity of 2-25000 shrimp per mu.

Fifth, put in bait

The diet of freshwater shrimp is omnivorous, so the feed is suitable for artificial pellet feed with a crude protein content of 35-40%, and can also be matched with a small amount of chopped small miscellaneous fish, snail meat, clam meat and other fresh bait.

VI. Water quality management

In the process of cultivating freshwater shrimp, it is necessary to do a good job in water quality management in time to keep the pond water "alive, tender, cool, fat," and the transparency should be at 30-40cm, the PH value should be 7-8, and the dissolved oxygen content per liter should not be less than 1 mg. If the water quality is sour, quicklime can be sprinkled regularly to adjust.

VII. Daily management

In the daily management, the pond patrol should be carried out in the morning and evening, the eating, molting and growth of freshwater shrimp should be carefully observed, the changes of water quality and water temperature should be paid attention to in time, and the residual bait and sundries should be removed from the water, and the relevant pond patrol records should be made. If diseases are found, prevention and control should be carried out in time.

VIII. Timely fishing

When freshwater shrimp is raised to September, most freshwater shrimp can be as high as 60 per kilogram, which can be caught on the market in batches to avoid damage to small freshwater shrimps. Generally, the net of 30-32cm can be used to catch large freshwater shrimps with an average yield of more than 200kg per mu.
