Preparation site: breeding in willow forest, elm forest and other places with moist soil. Collection and culture of egg branches: some branches attached with cicada eggs can be collected, incubated and covered with sand. Culture management: during the period to maintain appropriate humidity, it can be transplanted to the planting forest after hatching, the trees can be fertilized many times in the later stage, and the ant colonies can be cleared in time to prevent large creatures from entering the forest and trampling. Harvest: generally mature golden cicadas can be harvested many times.

First, prepare the site

1. Before raising golden cicadas, you need to find a good site for raising cicadas. You can choose some fruit trees in the orchard, or places such as willow and elm trees. The bark of the tree species should be relatively thin, and the branches of the bark should be relatively rich, and the branches should be relatively small and easy to attach.

2. The soil of the breeding ground should not be too dry, but should be relatively moist, so that it is convenient to manage the seedlings of golden cicadas. The more suitable place is the fertile soil distributed along the river valley.

2. Collection and culture of egg branches

1. You can go to the wild to collect some branches with cicada eggs, and then hatch and cultivate them, or you can buy them by yourself. when hatching, you should tie the branches containing eggs together and cover them with sand.

2. in order to maintain good humidity during this period, a small number of water droplets can be sprayed many times. generally, when the surface of the sand is moist, the golden cicada will slowly begin to hatch in the soil.

3. During the inspection, if something similar to an ant is found, it can be transplanted to the planting forest.

III. Culture management

1. Put the cultured branches together with sandy soil into the prepared roots. The pit should not be too deep, and the 30cm should be buried around. It can be closer to the roots, so that the seedlings of golden cicadas will not be damaged and it is convenient for young cicadas to absorb the sap of the roots.

2. The trees can be fertilized many times in the later stage to ensure that the growth of tree species allows the young cicadas to absorb enough nutrients.

3. If you often inspect the woods and see ant colonies or mice, you should remove them in time to prevent damage to golden cicadas, and usually prevent large creatures such as cattle from entering the woods to trample on them, and record the burial locations of young cicadas to facilitate the management of harvesting.

IV. Harvest

1. After the golden cicada is mature, it will slowly emerge from the soil and climb up the tree trunk. In order to facilitate the later harvest, an isolation zone can be made at 30-50cm from the tree trunk. The width of the belt can be controlled around 10cm, and the surface should be smooth, so that the golden cicada can not climb up.

2. The time when the golden cicada emerges from the soil is usually after the rain. Rain Water will hinder the activities of the golden cicada in the soil.

3. In general, golden cicadas are strong enough to start to sprout the earth. For those who have been dry for a long time, they can be drenched artificially to urge the cicadas to emerge from the earth.

4. Golden cicadas can be harvested many times, so at the time of harvest, do not stop harvesting once, the harvest time can last nearly 30 days, or longer.
