By the end of 2014, there were 8700 green food enterprises nationwide, with 21153 products. 814 certified organic products enterprises, 3342 products. There are 160 million mu of standardized green food production bases and 17 organic agriculture demonstration bases nationwide, covering a total area of 10 million mu. There are more than 70,000 certified pollution-free agricultural products, and the total number of registered geographical indications of agricultural products has reached 1588.

Brand promotion activities have various forms and obvious effects. Strengthening promotion and publicity is an important means for agricultural brands to become bigger and stronger. This year, the Ministry of Agriculture launched a public welfare publicity campaign for 100 agricultural products brands of 100 cooperatives nationwide. On November 7, during the 13th Agricultural Fair, the "National 100 Cooperatives 100 Agricultural Products Brand Launch Conference" was held. During this period, the 13th Agricultural Fair Gold Award and influential 50 regional public brand selection were also held.

Agricultural brand construction has attracted wide attention and set up a platform for experience exchange. Relying on agricultural trade fairs and related activities of national large markets, agricultural brand conferences will be held to widely attract people from all walks of life to study and discuss agricultural brand construction matters, fully exchange experiences, and promote the comprehensive flowering of agricultural brand construction in various places.

The enthusiasm for developing agricultural brands in various places is high, and the development momentum of brand construction is rapid. On the basis of the layout of the Ministry of Agriculture, more and more attention has been paid to the development of agricultural brands in various places, and a series of agricultural brand construction with local characteristics have been carried out. Guangdong Province has carried out the selection and promotion activities of famous, special and excellent new agricultural products for many consecutive years. In 2013, Hainan Province issued Opinions on Promoting the Development of Brand Agriculture. Since 2014, the government of Hainan Province has set up a special fund of RMB 100 million yuan for brand agriculture development every year to reward the agricultural product business entities that have obtained Chinese famous trademarks, national geographical indication certification trademarks, national geographical indication protection products and famous trademarks and famous brand products of Hainan Province for the first time, forming a benign interactive pattern of "government promotion, enterprise initiative and market pull."
