Keel flower not only has a name, because it is relatively tall, foreign trade looks like a keel, so it is named keel flower, it also has a name is called no ruler, also belongs to the cactus family of plants without leaves and roots are fleshy. So how to raise keel plants?

1. Soil

Keel flower is a plant of Euphorbiaceae, because it is fleshy root, so the soil requires loose, fertile and good drainage. Generally, rotten leaf soil, garden soil and sand can be used evenly according to the proportion of 1:1:1.

2. Water and fertilizer

Although plants like fertilizer and more watering, for keel flowers, neither fertilization nor watering is too much. Plants can be watered according to time in spring, once every three weeks. But the only thing to do every day is to spray water on the whole plant every day to increase the humidity in the air. Water the leaves once a day in summer, trim the dust on the leaves, keep the pot soil and the growing air dry in winter, and keep the growing environment and basin soil dry. Otherwise, it is easy to freeze the plants in winter. Fertilize once every 30 days in spring and autumn, and only once in winter.

Third, lighting

It needs sufficient sun exposure, and when the temperature is suitable, it can be placed directly in the sun. When the temperature is higher than 35 ℃, it should be shaded or moved to a cool, astigmatic place to avoid sunburn leaves.

4. Pruning

The ordinary keel is a relatively tall plant, which can grow to more than ten meters high, so we should pay attention to it during maintenance. If there are overgrown branches, it will sprout lateral branches and make it grow low.
