Blueberry is a common fruit in daily life, which has high nutritional value and is very popular with people. At present, many areas are planted in the greenhouse. What are the techniques for planting blueberries in the greenhouse?

1. Build a shed

In the construction of blueberry greenhouse, bamboo and wood can be used to build the general structure. The size of the greenhouse is selected according to the site size of the base, with a general length of 30m to 60m and a height of about 2m. Then set up columns in the greenhouse to support the stability of the greenhouse, generally, there should be at least 3 rows of columns, the external inclination of the outer 2 rows of columns should be 70 °, and the shoulder height on both sides should be less than 1.5m and more than 1m.

2. Temperature management

During the day, the temperature in the greenhouse should be 35 ℃. If the temperature is higher than 35 ℃, it should be ventilated in time. If the temperature is lower than 20 ℃, heat preservation treatment should be carried out.

3. Humidity management

Before the budding period, the humidity in the greenhouse should be about 75%, while the flowering period should be about 55%, the fruit expansion period should be about 60%, and the harvest period should be about 50%. According to the different humidity of blueberries in different periods, a humidity controller should be installed in the greenhouse to monitor the humidity in the greenhouse at any time, and to control the humidity by means of ventilation and watering. By controlling the humidity and temperature in the greenhouse, the concentration of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the greenhouse can be adjusted.

4. Moisture requirement

The watering management of blueberries is generally carried out through the combination of sprinkler irrigation and furrow irrigation. In the early stage of the construction of the shed, storage tanks and other places for water storage and pumping should be built to facilitate watering. The water requirement of blueberries is generally controlled around 12kg/m2, so the general watering frequency of blueberries is about once every 5 days.

5. Fertilizer requirements

In the fertilization management of blueberry, it is necessary to apply nitrogen fertilizer at the budding stage of blueberry and potassium sulfate before flowering stage. In general, certain substances such as crop straw should be covered after fertilization.

6. Pruning

During the growth period of blueberry, in order to ensure the natural growth of blueberry branches, the main branches should be trimmed. The general time of pruning is as follows: in the winter of the first year, the sturdy branches are arranged, the selected branches are selected as the main branches, and they are carefully cultivated. Pruning again in the autumn of the second year to ensure better branch growth.

7. Pest control

The phenomenon of diseases and insect pests will also occur during the growth period. therefore, the prevention and control of diseases and insect pests should be carried out during the growth period of blueberries, generally diluted with boron-sulfur mixture and sprayed before seedlings to control aphids and other pests. Some fungicides were sprayed on blueberries before flowering to control diseases.
