Peach is a nutritious fruit, the fruit is generally eaten raw or made into preserved peaches, canned, etc., nucleolus can also be eaten, more popular in the market. Let's take a look at the planting methods and techniques of peaches.

I. the cultivation of peaches

Peach should choose sandy loam with good drainage and loose soil, and the south slope is the best, but continuous cropping is avoided, that is, peach trees can no longer be planted on the land where peach trees have been planted. Before planting peaches, the soil must be deeply turned, and the slope should be changed into terraces to thicken the soil layer, and then dig planting holes or planting ditches according to the row spacing. It should be determined according to variety characteristics, topography, soil conditions, shaping methods and cultivation methods. Varieties with strong trees can be thinner, and varieties with weak trees can be denser.

II. Soil management

In the young garden, planting vegetables in summer and green manure in winter can not only increase the income of orchard, but also improve soil fertility, no intercropping in adult orchard, ② ploughing and loosening soil and weeding in summer, and deep hole expansion and organic fertilizer application in autumn and winter to improve soil physical and chemical properties.

III. Fertilizer and water management

Fertilizer and water management of peach trees in the first year after planting: the first year after planting is the key to the growth of peach trees. "light fertilizer" should be applied frequently in fertilizer and water management. from March to June, fertilizer should be applied every half month for a total of 8 times. the first 6 times were one load of clear fecal water plus 2 diuretics to promote the development of branches and leaves and take shape rapidly, and the last two times were applied to 4 trees with one load of clear fecal water and 2 dihydrogen phosphate to promote branch and shoot maturation and flower bud differentiation. Fertilizer and water management in the second year and after planting: peach trees are more resistant to barren than oranges and apples, but fertilizer should be applied at least three times a year after they are put into production.

IV. Pest control

Peaches should pay attention to the prevention and control of diseases and insect pests. The common ones are as follows:

Peach brown rot: the main harm to the fruit, at first the fruit surface appears brown round disease spot, and then spread to the whole fruit, the flesh becomes brown and soft rot. Prevention and control methods: to remove the source of overwintering bacteria, control weevil, Toona sinensis and other communicators, sprouting and spraying Baume 4Mel 5 degree stone sulfur mixture, can also use Dysen zinc, topzine and other antimicrobials.

Peach anthracnose: the main harm to fruit, wet and rainy disease is more serious, May is the peak of the disease, young fruit damage into stiff peach. After the fruit is enlarged, the watery spot expands into a round, reddish brown, sunken spot. Prevention and treatment methods: remove the overwintering source, spray 4Mel 5-degree stone sulfur mixture and topiramate in early spring, carbendazim and other antimicrobial agents.

Peach leaf shrinking disease: overwintering pathogen invades after sprouting and spreading leaves, shrinking and twisting into deformed leaves, and the diseased leaves are fat and gradually turn reddish brown. The prevention and control methods are basically the same as the above two diseases.

Peach planting and management is relatively simple, the first year of plastic management is more critical, the next few years can reduce management, let its natural growth.
