Nut cultivation techniques

Nuts are a classification of closed fruits with a hard rind and containing one or more seeds. Fruits such as chestnuts, almonds, etc. Today I would like to introduce the techniques of nut cultivation.

I. temperature

Most nutty plants prefer a warm environment, which is between 20 and 30 degrees. If it is too high or too low, it will affect the yield and the taste of the fruit. Therefore, try not to be higher than 35 degrees and not less than 15 degrees.

Second, lighting

Nutty plants generally have high requirements for sunshine. Only by providing sufficient light can the yield and quality of the fruit be guaranteed. Generally speaking, it is necessary to have enough astigmatism during the day, and only too strong light needs to be slightly obscured. During the flowering and fruiting period, the requirement for sunshine will be particularly high.

Third, watering

Some kinds of nuts have shallow roots, so they have higher requirements for water. Therefore, it needs to be adjusted according to the climate, if the environment is too dry, it needs to replenish water in time, and the drainage work needs to be strengthened in the rainy season.

IV. Fertilization

Appropriate amount of fertilizer can increase its yield, but the amount of fertilizer should not be too much. Fertilization can be carried out according to specific types of nuts, as different varieties have different requirements.

5. Pruning

In order to promote the amount of flowering and fruiting, appropriate pruning can be carried out in spring. In addition, there may be some yellowing and aging branches and leaves, which can be cut off in time.

VI. Pest control

Different kinds of nuts have different diseases. The main type is powdery mildew, which is more common from July to August and can be treated with chlorothalonil. There is also "brown spot", which can lead to fallen leaves, which can be cut off and then prevented with Bordeaux solution. There is a "yellow diamondback moth", which will nibble on leaves and its eggs will survive the winter. They can be eliminated with all kinds of insecticides.
