③ garlic expansion period: after garlic stalk harvest, before garlic harvest, combined with irrigation, 10~5kg, a special compound fertilizer for garlic, was applied to ensure rich nutrients to promote garlic expansion.

Watering:

After sowing ① garlic, keep sufficient soil moisture and no stagnant water to ensure that the seedlings emerge neatly.

In seedling stage, ② was irrigated twice according to soil quality to promote root development and cultivate strong seedlings to enhance the cold resistance of seedlings.

③ flower bud, scale bud differentiation period, timely irrigation back to green water.

④ garlic bolting extension period, strengthen fertilizer and water management, continuous watering, ensure that the border surface is not dry, promote leaf growth by water, stop watering 2-3 days before garlic bolting, increase toughness, in order to facilitate the storage and transportation of garlic bolts.

During the ⑤ garlic expansion period, watering garlic stalks after harvest, keeping the border surface dry, avoiding sun exposure and preventing garlic burns, stopped irrigation 5 days before harvest and accelerated the transport of assimilating substances from leaves to garlic.
