Surplus labor can be blue-collar workers in enterprises, and farmers' days are passing more and more.

Recently, when entering the Xinjiang Anji Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., which is located in Anjihai Town, Shawan County, the "hometown of chili peppers in China", nearly 40 workers were loading the vacuum-packed chopped chili peppers into trucks, ready to be shipped to South Korea.

"in 2016, we will continue to work on deep processing, in addition to the existing chili noodles, chili sections, chopped chili, etc., but also prepare for chili pickling, chili sauce production line." Kim Myong Guk, operating director of Xinjiang Anji Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., said.

Kim Myong Guk said that in the new year, the company is prepared to sign a contract of 5000 mu of land with professional cooperatives in Anjihai Town, to plant sweet peppers specifically in accordance with export orders and needs, and to provide seeds to farmers, slowly accumulating experience to form a scale. When the annual production of 5000 to 10000 tons of chili peppers is achieved, the raw materials basically come from local sources. The exporting countries have developed to Japan, the United States, Australia and other countries. At the same time, the company needs long-term workers and temporary workers to employ local surplus labor in Anjihai as far as possible.

At present, the company has 240 employees, of which 31 are permanent employees, and half of the long-term workers plus temporary workers are local farmers in Anjihai town.

Yan Guoliang, a villager of Sanqi Village, Anjihai Town, has been working in the company for only one month, and he has a new plan to work for a long time.

"the company provides food and accommodation to all employees free of charge, with a trial period of three months and a monthly salary of 2500 yuan. if you do a good job, you not only have to increase 200 yuan, but also sign a labor contract with us. I have no risk to work here. I have little land at home, and sometimes I work hard for a year without making money. Besides, the company is less than five kilometers away from home, and it is convenient to go home." Yan Guoliang said.

Ma Jinrong, a 28-year-old villager from Siqi Village, Anjihai Town, has been working in the company for more than a year. Now he is the director of the production workshop. He earns 3500 yuan a month. He plans to work in the company all the time. He said: "every extra year, the company will consider raising wages for its employees. I think it is very happy that a farmer can work at home and get paid."
