As an important vegetable production base and distribution center in China, the planting area of Chinese cabbage in Feicheng City has reached 80, 000 mu, mainly in Wangzhuang Town and Taoyuan Town, with a total output of 440000 tons last year. At present, more than 80% of Feicheng cabbages have been sold to welcome the bumper harvest.

According to reports, in recent years, Feicheng City has explored the planting model of "two vegetables and one grain", which has effectively led vegetable farmers to increase their income and become rich. "two vegetables and one grain" refers to the planting patterns such as "potato-corn-cabbage" and "potato-corn-cauliflower". The local vegetable farmers calculated that the income of spring potatoes per mu was more than 4000 yuan, that of summer corn was more than 800 yuan, that of autumn cabbage was the lowest, and that the worst total income of one mu of land was about 5600 yuan.

In order to effectively solve the problem of export of Chinese cabbage, in terms of sales channels, the Feicheng Municipal Government took the initiative to "attack", taking the lead in mobilizing various forces to help vegetable farmers contact the buyer's market; relevant departments "pull strings" and strengthen communication with big cities to open up "green channels for vegetables". One of the platforms set up by the government, the Taoyuan Agricultural products Logistics Park in central Shandong, played a leading role, selling more than 80% of the cabbages in Taoyuan town; at the same time, e-commerce, agricultural direct supply, broker marketing and other channels also promoted the wholesale and sales of cabbage.

It is understood that some of the cabbages that have not yet been sold are mainly because some vegetable farmers or large farmers want to obtain higher expected returns, which are equivalent to be evaluated when the early market is relatively good, and then some vegetable farmers are reserved for their own use.
