Cherry appearance is bright, red as agate, yellow as fat, the fruit is rich in sugar, protein, vitamins and calcium, iron, phosphorus, potassium and other elements, is a very delicious fruit. So, what is the new cherry planting technology?

1. Garden site selection

The cultivation of cherries must choose areas with high topography, no stagnant water, low groundwater level, neutral or slightly acidic, deep soil layer and good air permeability.

2. Variety selection

It is best to choose varieties with large fruit head, early maturity, high yield and, of course, strong resistance.

3. Sowing and raising seedlings

Sowing and raising seedlings in spring in the second year of seed collection, there is no need to accelerate budding, the emergence rate of cherries is high, and there is no need for special treatment.

4. Planting and fixing plants

Cherry planting is best planted in autumn, because the northern spring drought, the traditional spring planting moisture is difficult to control. And if the spring is planted early, the temperature fluctuates greatly and is vulnerable to freezing damage. If it is planted late in spring and the root grows slowly, the survival rate of cherry is low. Autumn cultivation will not have this kind of problem. It is best to adopt the method of deep planting and shallow burying in small pits.

5. Water and fertilizer management

Ensure timely watering during drought and timely drainage and waterlogging prevention in rainy season. Fertilize 3 times in the growing period, generally apply a small amount of organic fertilizer when watering.

6. Pollination at florescence

Pay attention to ensuring cross-pollination and artificial release of bees.

7. Fruit harvest

It takes about 3 to 5 years for cherries to be harvested in batches, and the stalks should be retained when harvesting, preferably after dry dew on a sunny day or when the temperature is relatively low in the evening.

The latest cherry planting technology can also be grown in a greenhouse, but the taste is not as unique as that of open-air cultivation.
