According to folklore, immortals shepherded sheep and went to Panji (now Panji District, Huainan) on the bank of the Huaihe River, caring for this fengshui treasure place and leaving a sheep's horn when parting. Through the care of the hard-working and wise Panji people for generations, they have given birth to a treasure for human consumption-sheep horn crispy. Yangjiao crispy melon, also known as "crispy melon", is produced in Panji District, Huainan City, Anhui Province. The melon is in the shape of sheep's horn, the skin is white and green, and the flesh is green. So the editor will introduce the planting method of sheep horn crispy melon today.

1. Yangjiao crisp melon is suitable for hanging vine cultivation in greenhouse, about 2000 seedlings per mu in greenhouse cultivation, hanging main vine, leaving melon with more than 4-5 leaves, no need to spray Gualing. During the fruit setting period, increase the temperature difference between day and night, and properly control nitrogen fertilizer and irrigation to prevent excessive growth from affecting fruit setting.

2. The first stubble melon should keep 3-4 melons per plant. When 6-10 leaves grow, the melon can be pinched at the same time, and the melon can be expanded at the same time to make the fruit neat and consistent.

3. Leave a leaf to pick the heart and remove all the growing points in front of the vine after fruit set. generally, when the main vine grows to 25-30 true leaves about 40 centimeters from the top of the shed, the main vine will pick the heart to promote melon control. Generally, there is no melon left at the 10th-20th section of the waist, and the vine can be removed in time. When the plant is weak, the vine can leave a leaf pinching tip.

4. The first stubble melon egg is big, when the melon embryo born in the upper section is easy to sit, pinch 2-3, leave 2-3 melon, remove the fruit-free vine as early as possible, and leave a growing point at the top without picking the heart. In the later stage, open the greenhouse film, leave 2-3 fruits on the sun vine, and bear the third stubble fruit.

5. Pruning and pinching should be done after clear dew evaporation, so as to facilitate wound healing as soon as possible and prevent infection. It is best to use scissors for pruning, and prepare a moist towel soaked with 75% chlorothalonil and 200 times liquid. Wipe the scissors once after cutting each tree to prevent cross-infection.
