Nuts are a kind of food high in protein, oil, minerals and vitamins, which is very good for the human body, so what is the nut planting technology?

The planting techniques of different kinds of nuts are also different, and the specific methods should be based on the types of nuts. the planting process needs to be managed from many aspects, such as soil, watering, fertilization, light and so on, as well as pest control. There are many kinds of nuts, including walnuts, chestnuts, peanuts, pine nuts and so on.

Take the planting methods of several types of nuts as examples:

1. Walnut

Walnut trees like temperature and light, and have strict requirements for water, so they should be planted in sandy loam soil with loose structure and good water retention and ventilation, and need sufficient water supply. Lime should be applied before acid soil is planted, and attention should be paid to deep turning of soil or tree disk to facilitate early fruiting, high yield and stable yield of young trees. Base fertilizer, topdressing and foliar fertilizer are also needed on a regular basis.

2. Chinese chestnut

Chinese chestnut has no strict requirements on soil, except for extreme sandy soil and clay, but the gravelly soil such as granite and gneiss is the best.

Chestnut is a light-loving tree species, the flowering period is full of light, the air is dry, the flowering and fruit setting is good. Therefore, it is appropriate to plant chestnut trees on semi-sunny slopes, sunny slopes or open areas. In order to enhance the light in the cultivation practice, the branches in the crown should be sparse properly.

Although the northern chestnut is more drought-resistant, it still has certain requirements for water in the growing period. Supplying appropriate amount of water during the growing period of new shoots and fruits can improve shoot quality and fruit size. Although southern chestnut is more drought-tolerant, rainy season or year, attention should be paid to drainage and waterlogging prevention.

3. Peanuts

Peanut has a relatively high demand for geological soil, so in the choice of peanut planting, it is appropriate to choose sandy soil with flat terrain and strong drainage capacity. Peanuts avoid continuous cropping. In the first year, the soil of peanuts in China is not suitable for continuous planting of peanuts. It is best to choose the soil where peanuts have not been planted for several years.

Peanuts are relatively drought-tolerant plants, which generally do not need watering management in normal years, but if they encounter extremely dry weather, especially in the flowering period, it is necessary to irrigate peanuts scientifically and timely.
