1. Soil

Cactus likes to grow in neutral and slightly alkaline sandy soil with good drainage, and the soil pH value is between 7.0and 7.5. the nutrient soil can be prepared by mixing 4 parts of garden soil, 4 parts of river sand and 2 parts of compost.

2. Temperature

Cactus like a warm environment, afraid of cold, the suitable temperature for growth between 20-30 degrees, winter temperature can not be lower than 5 degrees, in order to avoid frostbite, and the temperature difference between day and night is not too big.

3. Lighting

Cactus like the sun, in the case of strong light can grow well, flowers also bloom well, therefore, usually should see more sunshine. But it should be shaded in the middle of summer to prevent the plants from being burned by strong light.

4. Watering

Cactus drought tolerance, fear of waterlogging, watering should be less rather than more, keep semi-wet, do not dry do not water, watering is thoroughly, do not accumulate water in the basin. In spring and autumn, you can water once a week. In summer, water every three days, preferably in the morning and evening, but not at noon. In winter, water can be watered once a month.

5. Fertilization

Generally fertilize in the vigorous growth season, fertilizer can be used mature bean cake water, egg water and so on. Fertilization is generally applied every 20 days, if the growth rate is fast, it is best to apply fertilizer in the early morning or evening, the concentration of fertilizer should not be too high.
