All over the sky, also known as conical stone flowers, the flowers are very small, showing conical umbrellas arranged together, very good-looking. There are many colors in the sky, which are commonly used in fresh cut flowers. What is the method of planting seeds full of stars? Why does it not blossom in winter?

First, what is the method of planting the seeds of the stars?

1. Temperature requirement

Because Mantianxing is relatively afraid of heat during the whole growing period, and the optimum temperature for sowing is 15-20 ℃, it is often sown after mid-late September: first disinfect the substrate used for sowing, and the best way is to put it into a pot to stir-fry and sterilize at high temperature.

2. Soil requirements

Select soft soil, first soak the soil thoroughly, set and then sow seeds, cover with a thin layer of soil, sunlight and temperature are essential, the watering principle is dry and thoroughly, and the amount of water should be reduced at the seedling stage. With the growth of the sky star, there will be overgrowth phenomenon. Need to constantly add soil to fix, not too dense.

3. Matters needing attention in sowing

First wet the peat soil, then sow; to avoid light, cover the soil (just cover the seeds); cover the film with a toothpick to poke some small holes; put it in a shaded place and keep it ventilated

4. Watering

Changing pots all over the sky is easy to die, but if you transplant with soil, it will be easier to survive, that is, you should be very careful not to pour down the seedlings after transplantation. if it is a flowerpot, you can always add water in the base and slowly absorb water upward until the surface of the soil is wet and pour out the water in the base.

5. Post-planting management

About 35 days after planting, the lower part of the plant begins to sprout lateral buds. At this time, the lower 3mur4 pairs of leaves can be retained to remove the main top of the leaves and let the lateral branches grow, so that high yield can be obtained. Generally, each tree retains 8 side branches of 6 MULTHUE. It takes 90 days for most varieties from topping to flowering. You don't have to hit the top, but the output will be lower.

Second, why does the star not blossom in winter?

1. Temperature discomfort

The best growth temperature is about 15 ℃-25 ℃. It doesn't like the hot and rainy environment. If the temperature is too high or too low, it will only grow stems and leaves without flowering.

Therefore, if we want to make the stars blossom, we need to try our best to avoid being drenched by Rain Water. At the same time, when the temperature is too high or too low, we should pay attention to breeding indoors and maintain a good temperature.

2. Lack of nutrients

Unlike many flowers, Mantianxing likes to grow in slightly alkaline sandy soil, which requires loose fertility, good drainage, rich organic matter and moderate water content. Therefore, there are certain requirements for soil fertility. If the lack of nutrients will lead to poor plant growth, it is even more difficult to blossom.

We basically need to change the basin and soil every spring in order to maintain good soil fertility and promote the growth of Manchurian star. If we want the stars to grow luxuriantly, we usually have to fertilize them in about half a month. If we are close to flowering, we need to be careful not to continue to apply fertilizer, so as not to cause the flowers to wither too early and affect the ornamental effect.

3. Too little watering

All over the sky, apart from being drenched by Rain Water, there is still a lot of need for water. When we breed all the stars, we should pay attention to keep the basin soil wet and not too dry. Too dry soil can lead to slow growth of seedlings and too few branches. In this case, the effect of flowering in the future is not good.

However, it is not as much as possible for us to water the stars. Stagnant water in flowerpots can also lead to poor growth, watering for too long will lead to rotten roots, once the rotten root plants are hopeless, there will be no chance to blossom. In addition, like fertilizing, we should reduce watering appropriately when flowering.
