Rice is one of the common staple foods, and many people store some rice at home. If there is a small black bug in the rice, it will be very annoying. What about the little black bug in Mili?

Ginger repels worms

Ginger can dispel the insects in the rice, put the fresh ginger into the rice container, put a piece in the upper, middle and lower layers, and the bugs will run out when they smell the ginger. When the bugs run out, take out the ginger in case it goes bad and pollutes the rice.

2. Pepper repels worms

Zanthoxylum bungeanum has a special taste and can drive away bugs. Take about 30 pieces of pepper, divide them into three parts, wrap them with gauze or cotton cloth, put them on the upper, middle and lower parts of the rice, and the bugs will run away. This method can also be used to prevent rice worms. After putting the pepper away, tie the rice bag tightly and put it in a cool and ventilated place. The rice stored in this way will not have a strange smell, so you don't have to worry about affecting the taste of the rice.

3. Poplar leaves kill insects

After the rice bugs, move the rice to a dry, sealed container, pick some clean poplar leaves, put them evenly into the rice, and then seal the container. About four days, after opening the container, the insects and eggs have been killed, and then use a sieve to sift out the insects in the rice, you can also use a dustpan.

Fourth, freeze insecticidal

Most worms die in winter, so freezing rice can also drive them away. Divide the rice into several portions, one not too much, put it in a clean pocket, tie the bag tightly, and then put it in the freezer. After 48 hours or so, take it out, place it for a while, wipe the water out of the bag, and filter the rice.

Fifth, drying and deworming

Take out the rice, spread it on a clean bag and place it in a cool, ventilated place so that the bugs will climb out. Don't expose yourself to the sun. Bugs like warm places. Basking in the sun makes them reluctant to come out.

Millet worms may be due to hot weather or humid weather, if the insects only need to dispel or kill black insects, almost no loss of rice nutrition.
