The research team visited the ordinary steel pipe greenhouse and the intelligent glass greenhouse successively. Master Liu, a technician at the vegetable base, said that the steel-framed glass greenhouse, which covers an area of 2.96 mu, began construction in March this year, with an investment of about 1 million yuan, and was put into use in October this year. This batch of pink pearl, Zixia, sunshine, and powder bunches of small tomatoes have begun to bear fruit one after another, and it is expected that they will mature and appear on the market around the Spring Festival. The glass greenhouse has complete facilities, not only laying steam heating pipes, but also supporting fan wet curtains, which can be said to be warm in winter and cool in summer, and can be planted continuously all the year round. All the vegetables in the glass greenhouse are cultivated with coconut bran substrate, supporting drip irrigation facilities, and the integrated technology of water and fertilizer is used. in the future, the full automation of fertilizer allocation, irrigation and fertilization and process monitoring will be realized. The work of irrigation and fertilization can be easily completed by clicking a mouse in the operation room. The waste heat from steelmaking of Yonggang Group is used to heat the greenhouse in the glass greenhouse, and water and fertilizer are recycled, which has the characteristics of water-saving, fertilizer-saving, energy-saving and environmental protection.

Tao Xiao, director of the vegetable Office of the Municipal Committee of Agriculture, fully affirmed the current production situation of the intelligent glass greenhouse in the fresh vegetable base every day, and at the same time put forward constructive suggestions, hoping to add a rail-type mobile ladder to the greenhouse to facilitate future picking work.
