We all know that dried jujube has high nutritional value, many effects and functions, especially for women. But dried dates will give birth to worms if they are bought and kept for a long time. So, what should we do if the dried jujube is infested with worms?

What if the dried jujube is infested with insects?

If it is not moldy, it can be eaten. You can use the following methods.

1. Expose the jujube to the scorching sun to kill the insects. But when eating, you should pay attention to peeling off the dates one by one and carefully take out the dead bugs and the broken bits bitten off by the insects.

2. Put the jujube in the freezer and kill the worms. Then take it out and thaw it and remove the dead bugs and crumbs.

3. Scald the worms in boiling water, and then dry them in the sun.

4. Cut red dates into strips or slices and dry them in the sun. After drying, use a sieve to filter out worms and debris.

2. Preservation methods of dried jujube

1. Keep red dates sealed and keep them in contact with oxygen as little as possible.

2. Refrigerate in the refrigerator

3. Expose to the sun regularly

4. Stir-fry with 30-40 grams of salt and grind it into powder, sprinkle it on the jujube in layers, then seal it.

5. Blanch the jujube in boiling water, remove the jujube quickly, then dry it in the sun and store it in a dry and moisture-proof sealed container.
