Atractylodes macrocephala is a kind of traditional Chinese medicine with bitter, warm and strong taste, which has the effect of dryness and dampness, resolving turbidity and relieving pain. it is widely cultivated in medicine gardens all over our country. So, how to treat the disease of Atractylodes macrocephala?

First, how to treat the disease of Atractylodes macrocephala?

Root rot: chlorhexidine 50% wettable powder 1000 times or 1% lime water; Fusarium wilt: 68% thiram 20 g or 80% gram carbendazim 15 g + 25% isocarbamide 20 ml in water 30 jin; black spot: 32.5g / L benzoate 10 g + 50% thiram zinc 50 g in water 30 jin spray.

Second, what are the cultivation techniques of Atractylodes lancea?

1. Soil preparation and fertilization

Choose loam with deep layer, good drainage, loose and fertile, sunny loam, sandy loam or humus loam to make bed. 2000 kg of farm manure is applied per mu. The use of large ridge high bed technology, bed width 130-140 cm, length depending on the need, bed height 10-12 cm, bed spacing 30 cm.

2. Field management

Intertillage weeding: weeding and loosening soil should be done frequently at seedling stage, and attention should be paid to intertillage weeding after planting. If the weather is dry, it should be irrigated at the right time, or it can be combined with topdressing.

Topdressing: generally topdressing 3 times a year, combined with soil cultivation to prevent lodging. The first topdressing applied clear dung water in May, using about 1000 kg per mu; the second time, during the peak seedling growth period in June, human manure and urine were applied, using about 1250 kg per mu, or 5 kg ammonium sulfate fertilizer per mu; and the third topdressing should be before flowering in August. 1000-1500 kg per mu of human feces and urine, with appropriate amount of plant ash and calcium superphosphate.

Irrigation and drainage: in case of drought, timely watering, keep the soil moist, rainy season should pay attention to timely drainage and waterlogging, so as not to rot roots and seedlings, reduce yield and quality.

Bud removal: in the bud stage from July to August, the buds of Atractylodes macrocephala should be removed in time to facilitate the growth of the lower part of the ground.

3. Harvesting and processing

Domestic Atractylodes lancea needs to grow for 2 years before it can be harvested. Atractylodes macrocephala can be excavated in spring and autumn, but the quality is good from autumn to the end of the following spring. After the Atractylodes is dug up, remove the stems, leaves and soil, bask in 50% of the dry fashion into the basket, knock off part of the fibrous roots, and the skin is dark brown; when the sun is 60% to 70% dry, hit once again to remove all the old skin; when the sun is completely dry, hit once finally, so that the skin is yellowish brown, that is, a commodity. With a large, solid quality, cross-section cinnabar points, strong aroma is better. About 200 kilograms of dried medicinal materials can be produced per mu.

In the process of planting Atractylodes lancea, choosing the right soil can avoid many diseases, and the land avoids flooding. After flooding, the roots are easy to rot, so low-lying waterlogged land is not suitable for planting.
