How to treat corn disease?

Corn is easy to suffer from diseases in the process of growth, so it is easy to affect the growth of corn, so how to treat corn diseases?

Corn diseases include corn leaf spot, corn rust, corn round spot and so on. Different disease control methods are also different. For example, corn leaf spot can be controlled by carbendazim, carbendazim solution and methyl topiramate solution.

1. Corn leaf spot

Maize leaf blight refers to a disease harmful to maize leaves, which is characterized by initial infection from the lower leaves of the plant, then spread from the bottom to the top, and finally all the leaves turn brown, then the surface will begin to grow moldy, and finally the leaves will die.

Prevention and control methods: it is best to choose disease-resistant varieties when planting corn at the beginning, and then plant according to the appropriate planting density, and some phosphorus, potassium and organic fertilizers should be applied during corn growth. If corn has leaf spot, chemical agents can also be used to treat corn leaf spot. Carbendazim, carbendazim solution and methyl topiramate solution and other agents can treat corn leaf spot.

2. Corn rust

The main symptoms of corn rust are that small purulent scars of light yellow and ovate brown grow on both sides of the leaves at the initial stage, then ferruginous powdery substances appear after the vesicles break, and black oval or strip-shaped bumps will appear on the leaves of corn in the later stage. When it is cracked, it will reveal a dark brown winter robe.

Control methods: select rust-resistant varieties for planting, do a good job of weeding, watering, fertilization and other field management during the growth of corn, the worst-hit areas can start spraying at the initial stage of the disease, usually spraying 2 or 3 times at intervals of about 8 days.

3. Corn round spot

Corn round spot refers to a disease that is harmful to the ear of corn, which is characterized by the rot of the ear, the slow spread of the spot and the most serious disease in the ear, which sometimes causes the ear to die.

Control methods: spray more drugs, you can also use powder to prevent and cure, the main spraying site is in the ear, because the ear is the highest part of the disease.
