What fruits can be grown in Anhui

Pears, peaches, apples, strawberries, kiwifruit, blueberries, apricots and grapes are all suitable for growing in Anhui.

1. Pear

The cultivated area and yield of pears in China are second only to apples. Among them, Anhui, Hebei, Shandong and Liaoning provinces are the concentrated producing areas of pears in China, accounting for about half of the cultivated area and more than 60% of the output. Shandong Yantai cultivated varieties are Haiyang Qiuyue pear, Huangxian magistrate pear, Qixia big perfume pear, Laiyang pear (ci pear), Laixi Shuijing pear and perfume pear.

The annual output of Dangshan pear is about 1.5 billion jin, accounting for 1/8 of the total output of pears in China. Suizhong, Beizhong, Yixian, Jinxi, Anshan, Fuxin and other places in Liaoning Province mainly produce some varieties of Qiubai pear, Yali pear and Qiuzi pear system. Shanxi Gaoping is the producing area of Dahuang pear, while Shanxi Yuanping takes yellow pear and avocado as the main varieties.

2. Yellow peach

Yellow peach is widely cultivated in North, Central and Southwest China.

Well-known yellow peach producing areas: Jiashan yellow peach, Wutai yellow peach, Anhui Dangshan yellow peach, Guidong yellow peach, Yanling yellow peach, Tongnan yellow peach, Dalian yellow peach, Rongcheng yellow peach, Shanghai Guangming yellow peach.

3. Apricot

Apricot trees are grown in all parts of China, most of which are cultivated, especially in North, Northwest and East China, and a few areas are wild. Apricot trees are wild in Yili, Xinjiang or mixed with Xinjiang wild apple forest, up to 3000 meters above sea level. It is also cultivated all over the world.

According to textual research, apricot is originated in Xinjiang, China, and is one of the oldest cultivated fruit trees in China.

4. Grapes

The main grape producing areas in China are Xiao County in Anhui, Turpan and Hotan in Xinjiang, Yantai in Shandong, Zhangjiakou, Xuanhua and Changli in Hebei, Dalian, Xiongyue and Shenyang in Liaoning and Lumiao Township, Civil Rights and Yifeng in Henan Province.
