Matters needing attention of amaranth in greenhouse

Amaranth originated in the south of China and is widely cultivated in the Yangtze River basin. Amaranth can be rotated from spring to winter. Plastic greenhouse, small greenhouse and plastic film were used in out-of-season cultivation in early spring. Amaranth has high nutritional value, especially contains more iron, calcium and other minerals, as well as carotene and vitamin C, which is of great benefit to the human body. In addition, the seeds and leaves of amaranth can be used medicinally.

When planting amaranth in greenhouse, the first thing to pay attention to is the selection of varieties. Amaranth varieties can be divided into round-leaf species and sharp-leaf species, and pointed-leaf species should be selected in general greenhouse cultivation. The sowing plots are selected as far as possible in the areas with convenient drainage and irrigation and less weeds, and the large greenhouse film is covered after soil preparation. In order to go on the market early, a small arch shed can be built in the greenhouse and covered with film preheating. Sowing should be carried out in time when planting in the greenhouse, preferably from mid-February to early March.

II. Disease and pest control of amaranth

The common diseases of amaranth are powdery mildew, anthrax, brown spot and so on. After the emergence of diseases and insect pests, the disease should be identified in time according to the symptoms, and targeted measures should be taken to control it.

Powdery mildew mainly harmed the leaves, the leaves began to appear irregular brown patches, leaves dorsally round to amorphous white blister spores, severe scar spots were densely covered or connected, the leaves were uneven, and finally withered and yellow. At the initial stage of the disease, choose to spray 58% Redomir ·Manganese zinc wettable powder 500 times, or 50% nail cream copper wettable powder 600 times 700 times, spray 1 × 2 times.

Anthracnose mainly harms leaves and stems. Leaves infected with the initial dark green water-immersed spots, and then expanded to grayish brown, stem infected spots are brown, long oval slightly sunken. At the initial stage of the disease, 25% trimethoprim was sprayed, 600 × 800 times of wettable powder, or 800 times of 80% anthrax pod wet powder. Spray once every 7-10 days, control 2-3 times in a row, and stop using drugs 7 days before harvest.

Brown spot mainly harms leaves, the leaf spot is round or irregular, yellowish brown, the middle of the disease spot fades from grayish brown to grayish white in the later stage, and the boundary of the disease is clear. At the initial stage of the disease, 50% Pohaichi wettable powder 1000 × 1500 times or 70% mancozeb wettable powder 500 times 700 times liquid, 75% chlorothalonil wettable powder 500 times 600 times liquid. Spray once every 7 to 10 days.

When mole cricket pests occur, manual hunting can be carried out, or chaff can be cooked and mixed with 90% trichlorfon and sprinkled on the border surface to be poisoned. The conventional pharmaceutical treatment method is that 667m2 sprinkles the ground with 5% phoxim granule 1~1.5kg, and then rakes it into the ground.
