Ma Youxiang, director of the Animal Husbandry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, said that the development of the white-feathered broiler industry represented by Yantai reflects the elements and direction of the development of green breeding of livestock and poultry, that is, large-scale and green breeding, the development of the whole industry chain from breeds, feed to processing, and the development mechanism of companies plus farmers. At present, the aquaculture industry is "drifting away" from farmers and agriculture, that is, how to solve the problem of increasing farmers' income and circular cultivation through the development of aquaculture industry, Yantai model is worth using for reference.

The data show that in 2014, the number of broilers in Yantai reached 230 million, and more than 7100 broiler farms all implemented standardized scale breeding. 470000 sets of ancestral broilers were kept, accounting for more than 34% of the country's broiler breeders, accounting for more than 34% of the country's broiler breeders.
