Pruning methods of Autumn Moon Pear trees
Qiuyue pear has strong young shoot growth potential, low germination rate, high branch formation ability, easy to form short fruit branches, and axillary flower buds can be formed after annual branches are released. So, what is the pruning method of Qiuyue pear tree?
1. What is the pruning method of autumn pear tree?
It is mainly divided into winter shear and spring shear. Winter pruning is to cut off residual branches, useless branches, duplicate branches and cross branches to reduce nutrient consumption and store more nutrients in winter; spring pruning is mainly to prune branches and leaves, cut short branches that grow too strong, cut off weak branches, promote defective bud growth, bloom more later, and improve fruit quality and yield.
2. Cultivation techniques of Qiuyue pear tree
1. Building a garden
Choose irrigated conditions, fertile soil plots to build gardens. When building gardens, large seedlings and strong seedlings should be selected. When planting, it is decided whether to dig planting holes according to soil conditions. Hilly mountains need to dig planting holes, and clear out gravel, soil and backfill soil. Plain sandy loam soil, no need to dig planting holes.
2. Planting
In fertile plain land, 1m×4m or 2m×4m is generally adopted in the early stage, and 2m×4m or 4m×4m is adopted in the late stage (8~9 years later); in hilly land, 0. 75 m ×4m or 1m×3m is adopted in the early stage, and 1. 5 m ×4m or 2m×3m is adopted in the late stage. Pollinating tree varieties can be selected from varieties with high economic value such as Nanshui and Shuixi, and the proportion of pollinating trees is 7~8:1.
2. Flower and fruit management
Flowers were thinned at the inflorescence separation stage of Qiuyue pear, pollination was carried out when flowers were 25% open, and fruit thinning was carried out in suitable weather.
Thinning flowers: generally leave 1 inflorescence at a distance of about 25cm, and the rest of the inflorescences are thinned;
Pollination: artificial pollination with mixed pollen can obviously enlarge the fruit;
Thinning fruit: thinning out pests and diseases, bad fertilization, irregular shape, leaf grinding fruit, sun-facing fruit and drooping fruit.
3. Fertilizer and water management
Autumn pear belongs to sand pear, the fertilizer water requirements are more strict, like big fertilizer, water. The principle of fertilization should be organic fertilizer mainly, chemical fertilizer supplemented.
Under normal circumstances, 4~6 years old trees before freezing, according to the organic matter content of more than 30% of granular organic fertilizer 150~200kg per mu, and add 100~150kg of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium compound fertilizer.
In order to improve fruit quality and prevent physiological diseases, 150g borax was applied to each tree soil, 200g calcium nitrate, 1~1.5kg crushed peanut shell (or rice hull), 0.5~1.0L EM bacteria fermentation solution 100 times, 0.25~0.3kg peat soil and 8~ 10g magnesium sulfate (to improve fruit surface light) were applied every other year after full stirring.
Advocate shallow fertilization, generally 10~20cm below the soil is appropriate. Topdressing should be done in early August, i.e. late fruit growth, with quick-acting nitrogen fertilizer as the main fertilizer. Foliar fertilizer spraying should generally be carried out 4 to 5 times a year.
Autumn pear juice is sweet, as long as careful care in the planting process, its yield will also be very high.
