The price increase of edible agricultural products in 36 large and medium-sized cities across the country slowed last week (December 7-13), according to the Ministry of Commerce.

Last week, the average price of 18 kinds of vegetables rose 0.7% from the previous week, 4.7% lower than the previous week, of which lettuce, onions and tomatoes rose 5.3%, 3.7% and 2.7%, respectively.

The price of poultry eggs fluctuated slightly, of which the price of eggs increased by 0.7%, while the price of white-striped chicken decreased by 0.2%.

Meat prices fluctuated slightly, of which pork prices rose 0.2%, beef prices were the same as the previous week, and mutton prices fell 0.4%.

Grain prices were generally stable, with rice and flour prices unchanged from the previous week.

The price of edible oil fluctuated slightly, of which the price of soybean oil rose 0.1%, and the prices of peanut oil and rapeseed oil were the same as the previous week.

The average price of aquatic products decreased by 0.2%, of which the prices of grass carp and crucian carp were both 0.7% lower than that of the previous week.
