Last Updated: 2024/11/06, There are still three weeks left before the end of 2015. With three weeks to go before the end of 2015, as the end of the 12th five-year Plan, China's feed industry has developed more steadily in the past five years. 2016 is right in front of us, and the 13th five-year Plan is about to begin. The data will show you how China's feed enterprises can make great strides in the severe economic situation and industry environment.

In the 12th five-year Plan of the feed industry, it is estimated that the total feed output will reach 200 million tons, and there are 50 feed enterprise groups with an annual output of more than 500000 tons, accounting for more than 50% of the country's total output. In the convenient use of resources, the amount of straw is increased by 10 million tons, and the utilization rate of forage straw treatment is up to 50%. The level of high quality treatment and utilization of non-grain feed resources with large stock of miscellaneous dregs, dregs and food processing by-products has been significantly improved. In terms of energy conservation and emission reduction, remarkable progress has been made in the research and development and promotion of environment-friendly feed products such as low nitrogen and low phosphorus, with more standardized use of minerals, trace elements and pharmaceutical feed additives in feed products, and a steady decline in energy consumption per unit output value of the feed industry.

According to data, between 2010 and 2014, China's meat, egg and milk production increased by 9.8%, 4.7% and 2.5% respectively; the proportion of large-scale breeding of pigs and dairy cows increased by 7.5% and 14.4%; feed production increased by 22%, and the number of enterprises decreased by half; enterprises with an output of more than one million tons accounted for 52%. Although the final data for 2015 have not yet been released, according to the results released by the International Bureau of Statistics in the first half of the year (the national feed output in the first half of the year totaled 126.786 million tons, an increase of 2.6% over the same period last year, of which 70.786 million tons of compound feed and 29.942 million tons of mixed feed were increased by 2.19% and 1.52% respectively). The end of the year should have a good ending. The comprehensive production capacity of China's feed industry has been continuously enhanced, and the industrial quality has been accelerated, which has a more solid foundation for both the construction of modern animal husbandry and the construction of a powerful country in the feed industry.

The five-year Plan is an important planning system to guide the rapid and steady development of China's economy, and so is the feed industry. The following specific objectives are set out in the upcoming 13th five-year Plan for the feed industry:

Production target: 220 million tons of compound feed

Management objectives: improve the system and supervise the overall qualified rate of strong feed 96%

Industrial target: 40 enterprise groups with 1 million tons, accounting for 60% of the output

Additive goal: the output value of additives has increased by 50% over 2015; superior products such as microbial amino acids remain stable; restricted small varieties of amino acids are more widely used; and the production technology of enzyme microecological preparations has reached the international advanced level.

Ecological goal: nitrogen and phosphorus emissions per ton of feed will be reduced by 5%; energy consumption per ton of pellet feed will be reduced by 10%

From the above goals, it is not difficult to see that China's feed industry will move towards the road of steady development, at the same time, efforts will be made to improve the system and effective supervision, and quality and safety will become the focus. From the perspective of industrial objectives, large and medium-sized feed enterprises will be the main direction of the development of feed enterprises, and small enterprises need to plan for transformation at this stage, strive to include themselves under the command of large enterprises, and seek protection and development; in the two aspects of additives and ecology, feed enterprises need to continuously strengthen research and development, rational formula ratio, through the rational use of additives and unconventional raw materials to achieve the dual goals of nutrition and environmental protection. At the same time, the research of feed processing technology will also become the focus of the work of enterprises.
