First, repression and deep ploughing, controlling prosperity and promoting strength. For prosperous and long wheat fields, we can choose small stone, wood, cement cylinders and other tools to carry out artificial or animal traction and suppression according to local conditions, and choose to suppress when the weather is sunny, the dew is dry, and the topsoil is dry. Over-growing wheat fields were suppressed many times in the same direction at intervals of 70 days. If the sowing quantity is too large, the field should be thinned first and then suppressed. Strip sowing wheat field first deep hoe (depth 6mur10cm) and then suppress. The above measures can inhibit the growth of aboveground part and promote the development of root system.

Second, timely remediation of frozen wheat fields. It was found that the main stem of wheat seedlings and the wheat fields where the large tillers had been frozen to death should be fertilized immediately, applying urea 5mura per mu and adding water to the wheat fields without soil moisture to promote the rapid growth of small tillers. Frozen wheat seedlings must not cut off frozen stems and leaves, nor can they rip off frozen dead leaves, otherwise it will cause mechanical damage and reduce production more seriously. After the wheat seedlings were frozen, although the main stem and the aboveground part of the large tiller had been frozen to death in a certain period of time, the root system could continue to absorb nutrients, and the nutrients of the frozen main stem and tiller could be transferred to the unfrozen small tiller.

Third, apply spring fertilizer to prevent premature senility. Frozen wheat fields or flourishing but not frozen wheat fields, because the early growth of wheat consumes more nutrients in the soil, it is necessary to supplement nutrients in the middle and later stages of wheat growth to prevent premature senescence. After the beginning of spring, it should be seen that the seedlings should apply jointing and booting fertilizer as appropriate to promote more tillers into spikes, large panicles and more grains and grain weight.

Fourth, strengthen publicity and technical guidance services. It is suggested that all localities should make use of all kinds of media to strengthen publicity, and agricultural departments at all levels should strengthen technical guidance services to ensure that technical measures for controlling prosperity and promoting strength are implemented in people and in the fields.
