Management of hydroponic cultivation of orchids

I. Put orchid juice correctly

The time interval of adding orchid solution is generally 15~20 days, and the dormancy period is 30~40 days. To make the volume accurate, use syringe to measure the volume. Orchid growth can be divided into three stages. In the first stage, the orchid is uprooted from the soil, washed and transplanted until new white roots grow. This stage is called "adaptation stage". During the adaptation period, the orchid solution is limited to 0.4CC~0.5CC per pot. The second stage is called "normal growth stage". The new roots are contacted with the planting water. The solution volume is 1CC~3CC per time. The third stage is dormant. The solution volume is 0.4CC~0.5CC per time.

II. Replacement of transplant water

Orchids are growing. The root growth metabolites fall off in the cultivation water, and the cultivation water becomes dirty after a long time. In order to keep the water clean, the whole plant should be washed and replaced at any time. After changing the water, the liquid must be added again.

III. Prevent planting water from growing in summer

One of the following methods can be used to achieve the goal: 1. The fixed plants with stones or sponge spread inside the sieve, to prevent mosquitoes from entering. 2. Change the planting water method, every 15 days. 3. Spray a small amount of spray into the pot planting water with mosquito spray, pay attention not to cause burns to the plants.

The hydroponic cultivation method of orchids is only a reform of planting method, and has not changed the ecological habits of orchids. Orchids like shade and ventilation. Growth temperature between 18~28 degrees, summer and early autumn to more shade, light intensity of about 50%, late autumn should be given strong light, promote its growth and enrichment, more flowers. Room or hall decoration, keep air circulation, light must be bright. Avoid placing them in places where there is smoke or polluting gases. In summer, orchids will grow more vigorously in an indoor environment with air-conditioning equipment.
