Technical requirements for fresh fruit harvest of lemon
1. The harvest of spring flowers and fruits will be carried out around October 1.
2. No water shall be irrigated into the garden 5 days before harvest, no nitrogen fertilizer shall be applied for 20 days, and no pesticide shall be applied for 30 days, so as to ensure that lemons are harvested outside the safe interval.
3. Rainy days, foggy days and dewy days in the morning.
4. Fruit pickers, bag pickers and graders must cut their nails, wear gloves, do not drink before work, do not smoke at work, handle them gently, and try not to touch their faces.
5. when picking fruit, hold the fruit lightly in one hand and cut the stalk gently with scissors in the other. Handle it gently and ship it carefully to prevent crushing, bruising and poking.
6. Put the fruit into a suitable container after harvest, with a soft cushion in the container; the fruit should not be too deep to prevent crushing.
7. As long as all personnel find sick, deformed and injured fruits, they should remove them in time.
Notes for fruit pickers:
1. The cooperative personnel inform the fruit-picking households to make preparations (they must cut their nails short) one day before fruit picking, to ensure that the fruit surface is not scratched, and to improve the qualified rate of commercial fruit; the containers used for fruit harvest (usually in the back basket) must be cushioned to ensure that the fruit surface is not scratched.
2. When picking fruit, each fruit should be placed gently and put down within 10cm distance; the back basket should not be filled too deep to avoid crushing the fruit, which should be supervised by the co-operative personnel.
3. The personnel of the co-operative shall be responsible for the supervision of the back to the fruit selection area to prevent the fruit from falling.
4. Do not drink before picking, do not smoke or sing alcohol in the process of picking. When notifying fruit farmers the day before fruit picking, cooperative personnel should state that they should not sing wine before fruit picking, in case individual farmers drink at breakfast.
