Figs like sunny, warm and humid environment, drought tolerance, fear of waterlogging, fertile and moist sandy soil. But it also has strong adaptability to other soils and can grow normally in heavy ash soil, acid red soil and alluvial clay. The pots of figs should be changed once a year before sprouting in early spring. The potted soil can be made from 8 parts of garden soil, 1 part of sand and 1 part of dung, and the hooves are added as base fertilizer. During the growth period, cake fertilizer and water can be applied every half a month, and rotten sesame paste or cake residue should be applied once a month. It is better to water to keep the basin soil moist, dry and wet. After Frosts Descent enters the room for maintenance in winter, one or two times of water can be watered throughout the winter, and the room temperature is kept at 3-5 degrees. For potted figs, the plant should not be too high, preferably 30cm high; it should be carefully pruned. Pruning should be carried out in March in spring. When the seedlings grow to 40-50 cm high, cut the top at 30 cm high. When the lower axillary buds grow to 3 cm, only the top 3-5 buds will be left as the main branches, and the rest will be cut off. A heart pick was carried out in July of that year to prevent the branches from growing too much. The following spring, cut it short again at 12-15 cm of the main technique. When the new buds sprout 3cm, leave 2-3 buds on each main branch, remove the rest, and pick the heart again in July. After two times of pruning. The shape of the tree is shorter, fluffy and much more beautiful.

Figs are often propagated by cutting, which is generally carried out in summer. Select annual strong branches, cut into 15-20 cm long segments for cuttings, about a month after cutting can take root, and then transplant cultivation. The common diseases and insect pests of figs are anthrax, root cancer, longicorn beetles, shell insects and other insect pests. You can refer to the liquid spray used by flowers harmed by the same diseases and pests for prevention and control.
