After the beginning of autumn, the winter jujube tree gradually entered the dormant period, and the drug resistance was high. With the decrease of temperature, the diseases and insect pests lurked in the bark cracks, scars, branches, fallen leaves, fallen fruits, stiff fruits or soil to "overwinter". Therefore, it is necessary to seize the favorable opportunity of disease and pest control in autumn and winter, combined with cultivation and management.

(1) after cleaning the fallen leaves of deciduous winter jujube trees, the withered branches and leaves, diseased fruits and weeds in the garden should be deeply buried or burned in time, so as to reduce the number of pathogens and pests overwintering.

(2) the deep turning jujube orchard, especially the jujube orchard with barren land and high salt content, can loosen the soil and preserve soil moisture, accumulate rain and snow, promote root growth, and turn the overwintering pests to the ground, prey by natural enemies or freeze to death by natural enemies.

(3) scraping the old bark in early winter or early spring scraping, burning or burying the old warped, diseased and moth-eaten bark from the trunk, big branches and branches in early winter or early spring can effectively eliminate the diseases and pests that survive the winter in the rough bark. The skin scraping thickness should be yellowish green with slight exposure to the cortex. after scraping, apply 40% Fumet arsine wettable powder 10-100 times or 5-10 Baomedo stone sulfur mixture to protect the wound.

(4) after the trunk is coated with white jujube leaves, use whitening agent at the base of the trunk and branches to eliminate overwintering diseases and insect pests in the trunk. The whitening agent can be prepared with 25 parts of water, 10 parts of quicklime, 1 part of stone-sulfur mixture, 1 part of salt and a small amount of animal oil, and an appropriate amount of fungicides and pesticides can be added to the whitening agent to increase the effect.

(5) after artificial insecticidal jujube trees have fallen leaves, combined with winter cutting, the branches of diseases and insect pests can be cut off, and the overwintering eggs and cocoons of overwintering insects such as big bag moth, diamondback moth and cicada can be removed.

(6) spraying 5 Baume stone sulfur mixture and 200 times pentachlorophenol sodium after defoliation and before germination of jujube can eliminate overwintering pathogens and eggs.

(7) after picking the winter jujube with a bunch of grass, tie the base of the tree trunk with rice straw for a week to lure pests into the grass to survive the winter and prevent frost injury. Before the jujube tree germinates, untie the straw and take it out of the garden to burn.

(8) bind the film to stop the plastic film which is about 20cm wide at the base of the tree trunk in early spring, and bind the middle of the film with a poison rope, and roll the film down into a trumpet-shaped, which can effectively prevent the killing of tree pests.

(9) plastic film mulching on tree plates in early spring can not only prevent the spread of ground germs and some insect pests to trees, but also inhibit the growth of weeds, increase ground temperature and reduce water evaporation.
