Field Management of planting Cotton at budding stage
At present, cotton in Shache County is about to enter the budding stage. All towns and towns should attach great importance to the field management of cotton field in bud and boll stage, and pay special attention to the technical guidance of fertilizer and water management, intertillage weeding and chemical regulation.
1. Grab the head water and prepare
Conventional irrigation land should be cultivated, weeded, uncovered before irrigation, combined with ditching and topdressing, and ridged before irrigation, so as to prepare for irrigation.
II. Pay attention to irrigation quality
Irrigation head water is the key, adhere to the principle of no drought, head water should be late, generally in the beginning of flowering irrigation head water, thin water shortage three types of cotton fields should be irrigated head water in advance, excessive cotton fields can be postponed watering, to avoid excessive water or too long interval cotton field drought caused by bud and boll drop; 10-15 days after the first water irrigation, two water to catch up, full irrigation, normal cotton sandy soil can be appropriately advanced, tidal land appropriate delay, rather head water late, not two water late.
Third, pay attention to scientific fertilization
Cotton absorbs less nutrients from emergence to bud stage, so it can be sprayed with mepiquat amine according to its growth, urea and potassium dihydrogen phosphate for foliar topdressing to supplement fertilizer needed for reproductive growth. For cotton fields with weak growth and slow growth caused by disaster, urea 5 kg per mu shall be applied in combination with irrigation to promote nutrient growth and avoid urea spraying and burning seedlings. In addition, in order to prevent potassium deficiency in the later stage of cotton from causing red leaves, stem blight, defoliation and peach loss, foliar fertilizer should be sprayed in combination with pesticides in the early stage to supplement the needs of potassium and other rare trace elements in cotton.
IV. Grasping Rationalization
Advocate "less control, light control", adhere to the principle of early light diligence, according to the growth and seedling situation, use DPC timely chemical control to prevent cotton from excessive growth. In cotton field with normal growth in bud stage, 6-7 leaves and 0.5- 0.8g of DPC were lightly adjusted before the first watering to achieve the goal of stable and long growth in bud stage; the initial flowering stage was easy to overgrow, and 1.0- 1.5g mixed with water was sprayed three days before the second watering, and the dosage of DPC sensitive varieties such as Xinluzhong 26 was low. When spraying mepiquat chloride, it can be combined with 100g potassium dihydrogen phosphate and 50g urea mixed spray to promote young bud differentiation and plant type compaction.
V. Grasping Comprehensive Prevention and Control
In view of the situation that cotton aphid and cotton wilt occurred moderately in Shache County this year, all towns should strengthen prediction and field monitoring to achieve early investigation, early discovery, early report, early prevention and early control. Cotton aphids can be controlled by dropping seeds on stems, pulling out insect plants and washing urine mixture, etc., paying attention to protecting natural enemies and avoiding high pesticide resistance to aphids; fusarium wilt can be improved by strengthening field management, spraying 30g of 36% trichloroisocyanuric acid or 20g of special fusarium wilt and other fungicides mixed with 35- 40kg of water per mu.

Control of thrips growing cotton
Cotton thrips are also called tobacco thrips and spring onion thrips. In addition to harming cotton, it also harms tobacco, onions, garlic, melons, potatoes, tomatoes, cabbages and other crops. Symptoms of damage: adults and nymphs are mostly concentrated in the tender head and leaf back of cotton plants to absorb juice, after the cotton seedlings are killed.

How to manage the flowering and boll period of planting cotton
Cotton entered the flowering stage from the first ten days of July to the end of August and the beginning of September. The flowering and boll stage is not only the most exuberant period of cotton growth and development, but also the key period to determine the yield. Due to the high temperature this year, the growth process of cotton is generally faster, which gives
