Tea anthracnose is a disease caused by subphylum fungus. The pathogen overwinters in the diseased leaf tissue with mycelium and conidia, and produces conidia under suitable conditions in the spring of the following year. Conidia spread by wind and rain, germinate in water droplets and invade leaves to form disease spots. The conidia of the diseased part are repeatedly re-infected after maturity, and the disease is serious under the condition of high temperature and humidity. In the whole year, the harm was more serious from May to June and from September to October. Tea gardens with weak tree potential, extensive management, excessive picking, freezing injury, heavy insect pests and excessive application of nitrogen fertilizer are prone to diseases. In general, the varieties with thin and soft leaf tissue and low content of tea polyphenols are easy to be infected.

Prevention and control technology:

1. Select disease-resistant varieties for agricultural control, strengthen tea garden management, properly increase phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, frequently produce weeds, promote the healthy growth of tea trees, improve the ability of disease resistance of tea trees: clean up diseased leaves in time to prevent the spread of germs.

2. Chemical control in the initial stage of the disease, 70% methyl thiophanate wettable powder 50ml 70g per mu (diluted 1000mi 1500 times), or 75% chlorothalonil wettable powder 75mu 100g (diluted 800mu 1000 times water) spray has a better control effect. 0.6% lime half-volume Bordeaux liquid spray can be used during the tea dormancy period, which can reduce the disease in the following year.
