It usually occurs more often in the flowering stage, the humidity is high, and the closure of the crown is more likely to cause the worm. In Hainan, there is often no harvest due to the damage of the insect. The shape of this insect is a bit like a float in a rice field. Control method: keep a close eye on the insect situation during the flowering period. when the insect occurs, the leafhopper beats in the orchard and rustles when it rains. As soon as pests are found, they should be sprayed immediately. The main pesticides are:

① 50% cicada powder (powder), 50% fenitrothion EC, 50% Daofengsan EC, 25% imidophos, 50% fenitronitrile EC and 50% malathion (dose 1000-1500 times)

② 20% Quick-killing Ding 2004 times solution

③ 25% carbaryl wettable powder, 15% propoxur EC (dose 500,800 times).

④ 20% harm propofol EC, 20% quick-kill EC (600-1000 times) or 40% dimethoate + 80% dichlorvos EC 800x each.

⑤ 10% efficient kill Bai Ke 4000 × 6000 liquid. In orchards where leafhoppers occur (or have occurred) all the year round, spray prevention during inflorescence elongation, and spray once or twice after flowering.
