The head is yellow between the eyes, reddish brown in the compound eye, 3 in one eye, arranged in a triangle, wing transparent, wing vein yellowish brown, wing nevus triangular, ovoid, milky white, about 1mm. The larvae are about 10mm long, yellow-white, conical, pupa oval, light yellow, about 5mm long and about 0.5mm wide.

(3) Life habits occur for 3 to 5 generations a year, generations overlap, and there is no obvious overwintering phenomenon. Adults are concentrated in Eclosion at noon. After Eclosion, they mate and lay eggs in about 20 days in summer, 25-60 days in autumn and 3-4 months in winter. Each female can lay 200 eggs, which can be laid many times. The eggs are laid under the pericarp, and there are 5 eggs and 10 eggs in each spawning hole. The egg stage is 1 day in summer, 2 days in autumn and 3-6 days in winter. After hatching, the larvae do harm in the fruit and molt twice. As soon as the larvae mature, they leave the fruit and pupate at the depth of 3~4cm.

(4) the first control method is to plough the garden soil in winter or early spring to reduce the number of insect population in winter. Second, during the peak period of adults, spray the crown with 2000 times of pyrethroid pesticides or 2000 times of trichlorfon at night. Third. Before the peak spawning period of adults, spray the dense canopy with 90% trichlorfon 800 times liquid and 3% or 5% brown sugar, once every 7 days, for 3 times in a row. Fourth, the bagasse fiber cubes (57mm × 10mm) soaked in methyl clove powder and 3% bromophosphorus solution were suspended from trees during the adult occurrence period, hanging 50 yuan per square kilometer, twice a month. Fifth, in the middle stage of fruit development, begin to cover the fruit with paper bags to prevent adults from laying eggs on the fruit; collect the fallen fruit with insect pests and destroy it; collect the fruit in time to reduce the harm.
